God is good all the time. Even if you are going through terrible things and you feel there is no where to turn. The Lord is always right in the midst of it. He is lifting you up carrying you over the jagged edges of the rocks you have found yourself on. Never give up, never quit, never feel you are on your own going through what ever you are going through.
Jesus Christ experienced it before you. Every thing you have been through Jesus went through first. He carries our grief’s and sorrows. He takes the pain away as if it is his own. This week we are going to continue with 1 Corinthians 13:4-8.
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails."
We are going to look at “Love does not keep record of wrongs”. after last weeks IT ALWASY PROTECTS please see all the series we have done on this full scripture!
This is a sensitive subject to many, “Love does not keep record of wrongs” This is holding a grudge, holding un forgiveness, not letting go of wrongs done to you or yours.
This message could be talking to a person who has sown evil to another and holds onto a grudge without its being justified at all ( the person you are being bad to or have been bad to has done no wrong!). The second could be to a person who has been the recipient of people and circumstances and is now harbouring a grudge or un forgiveness because of this. Thirdly to someone who is holding onto guilt and un forgiveness for themselves.
Un forgiveness comes in many forms but we have seen here that God who is LOVE says “ Love does no keep record of wrongs” Oh Boy! What people have done to you! What you have been through, what you have been faced with and came through. What are you still left with? How long ago was this? Has it been years yet your still experiencing feelings and thoughts over a person or circumstance that has inflicted wrong done to you or yours? Do you hold a grudge against someone for something you think they did? Or something they have actually done to you? Or do you hold a grudge against God because something or someone was taken away from you? Either way scripture clearly shows that it will hinder your life and we shall see this shortly. One of the biggest lies circulating today is God is the one who takes a person ( when they pass on) unexpectedly. This is not Gods will in fact God says in Psalm 91 He wishes us to have LONG LIFE.
Its important for you to find out what Gods will is as satan/devil is having a field day with unbelievers and some Christians who don’t know the truth. And in fact are blaming the one who made them for his pleasure to love and fellowship with, that’s your God. He loves you with a love so strong. God is not to blame for people being taken away early or any bad things happening in this world. All rights went to satan legally back in genesis 3 as we have seen. God has sent Jesus to free you and redeem you( bring you back to him) but your adversary ( the enemy devil is relishing in the fact that you don’t know the truth and many are blaming God for the terrible things he is causing. Man is also to blame as we have seen by their choices. Forgiveness as in the Wikipedia is typically defined as the process of concluding resentment, indignation or anger as a result of a perceived offence, difference or mistake, or ceasing to demand punishment or restitution.
The Oxford English Dictionary defines forgiveness as 'to grant free pardon and to give up all claim on account of an offence or debt'. Blaming someone for what has happened, blaming God for what has happened.
This is not going to help the situation. Jesus said on a mountain to His disciples and followers many wonderful truths, He was teaching them a new way. A new covenant ( binding legal agreement) A way they had not experienced before. ( The Old Testament was under the law) and back in Deuteronomy 28 God set before us blessings and cursing. He told us there was death or life in the world and to chose life. He gave us the answer LIFE yet so many still chose to walk in death ( spiritual and eternal death from him). When you are separated from God you are in satan kingdom and walking in his ways whether you except it or not. The New Covenant that God created through Jesus Christ was a covenant based on his Love for us. Him not wishing us to go through what satan has in store. Jesus taught his disciples and followers this New covenant and ways of doing things. All Israelites up to that point had followed God under the law of Moses. This was something no man could keep. You have heard of the ten commandments. Thou shalt not steal, thou shalt not commit murder, thou shalt not commit adultery etc…God loves us so much that He knew that man wouldn’t be able to keep this law ( because of the un advantage of the devil being given authority over us) and sent Jesus to bring to bring another Covenant by which the Israelites and then Gentiles ( other nations) where protected, saved, freed, helped etc. The world is cursed and wicked spirit in high places ( devil and his demons) are running riot here. See Ephesians 6:12
When Jesus taught this New Covenant and its necessities, it was given as a gift purely for our benefit.
Judging and condemning others is a tool satan uses to keep you bound to him. Un forgiveness can be created because of what you have been targeted by others with. Don’t let satan win! He may have got persons to choose to be cruel, hold a grudge against you or what ever you have experienced but you can still win and keep him firmly out of your life by forgiving them for doing what they did to you. Remember in previous blogs we have seen that God is a good God, He is LOVE itself and the devil is a fallen angel who got jealous of God. Because Lucifer as he was called then He had a freewill, he chose to be evil and he was cast out of heaven and Gods presence for ever and banished to the earth for now. We know from other blogs it is possible not to be envious of another or proud etc through The Holy Spirit helping us. We are made able to walk in Gods kind of love and not our own feelings when we receive Gods free gifts. He is the one who makes you able to do these things. To get past pain and un forgiveness.
If you hold un forgiveness for what ever reason then this is judging and condemning them for their actions. We have no right to do this and Jesus made it very clear how important it us for us not to do this. Holding a grudge, or judging someone no matter how much they actually do deserve it or not is only breeding the devils works and causes a massive block in your own life. We will see scriptures to support this in a moment.
If Jesus doesn’t Judge, Doesn’t hold anything you have done that is wrong against you then Guess what? We are not to judge and hold on to strife and un forgiveness as scripture says it is for your own sake. . . God says we have to forgive, does but it is NOT for His benefit but for yours only.
Luke 6:37 "Judge not neither pronouncing judgment nor subjecting to censure, and you will not be judged; do not condemn and pronounce guilty; acquit and forgive and release give up resentment, let it drop), and you will be acquitted and forgiven and released."
Now Jesus did not come into the world to judge as we see clearly here:
John 12:44-47 “ Jesus Loudly declares The one who believes in him does not only believe in me but in him (the father God) who sent me. And whoever sees me see He who has sent me(the father God) I have come as a light into the world. So that whoever believes/trust and relies on me may not continue to live in darkness. If anyone hears my teaching and fails to observe them, disregards them it is not I who judges him. For I have not come into the world to judge, to condemn, to pass sentence and to inflict penalty on the world but to save the world”
We see Jesus came to save, and we know that God set before us in the beginning blessings and cursing, life and death, he gave us the answer chose LIFE. We see that God sent Jesus because we could not keep the law and the devil was running riot with us here. The Lord loves
the world and its people so much see John 3:16 This is the covenant we are now in should you chose. The Age of Grace ( unmerited favour). But we have a choice, Its all about Freewill.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”Notice the two words in the above scripture love and gave.
God loved us so much that that He gave. The important thing here is that He loved before He gave.
Jesus taught about judging others for many reasons; we have seen how it will affects our lives, and the devil has access to us ( legal access) f we are not in Christ. But lets see what Jesus said here:
Luke 6:38 “ Give and it shall be given unto you, good measure pressed down, shaken together and running over will they pour into you bosom ( your purse, your life) For with what measure you deal out it will be measured back to you” ( this is why Jesus says for us to be holy and to treat others well.) The measuring back is not from other people and what they can do to you, it is a spiritual law and what is sown will be sown back to you. This scripture by far goes beyond tithing or giving financially as we must look at the whole passage in which Jesus spoke in Luke 6: He was showing the New Covenant a new way of doing things. This way is power and victory. its LOVE! Walking in love even to the people who persecute you, envy you, stir up hatred against you. As Luke 6 says. He is saying in this scripture that what you measure out will get measured back to you. He was sharing these scriptures for our own benefit. To help us. Take his help. Receive his free gift of love. “Love keeps no record of wrong.”
How can someone keep no record of a wrong “when they have been badly done to”? For example: You have been abandoned as child? And throughout life had multiple rejections? How does someone not hold a grudge and hatred for people who have put you through that. It is a difficult scenario for many people, I can say that in my case; this did actually happen to me, I was blessed to have Gods kind of love working in me.( I am aware that this is not the case for some people) Jesus gives us the answer n how to accomplish this. Receive his gift of love! I didn’t hold a grudge against them in fact they were already forgiven by me. I saw that it was because of their own issues this arose and that one day the truth would come out and they will have to be accountable for their actions. (What you sow you reap)
See Galatians 6:7 “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatever a man sows, that shall he also reap.”
Do I want that for anyone? No. Does God want that for anyone, NO!
I learnt what you sow you reap, when I thought I was working for my Father in Heaven. Who I have loved all my life starting back when I was a very young child but In fact I was working for satan doing medium ship and such. The Apostle Paul was a man who loved God and a fierce warrior for the Hebrews. In Acts we see He thought that Jesus was not of God and He went about killing many people who preached and taught until He was struck down with blindness for three days. He fell off his horse and he heard the words Saul, Saul ( as he was called then) why do you persecute me.? ( it was Jesus) he regained his sight after three days and Jesus showed that it truly was Him. Jesus told him, He was to work for him for the rest of his life. He knew his heart, He saw right into his heart and saw that satan had deceived him.
This I can identify strongly with! The devil accommodated me as I was sensitive from a child and fell flat into the lie. I was not shown the truth although I had been to church all my life even in the church choir. I chose music as my GCSE and my course work was on church music. Satan made sure I stayed away after that by something terrible the so called Vicar of the church had done to many boys. ( again the devil and mans choice) so I stayed away from God for a while! I thought the vicar is doing that blimey Im staying away! ( this is how the devil works to keep you away from the truth) I did not know the truth and what happened to the world, why Jesus came and about the devil. I just knew I loved Jesus so much and loved the holiness attached to it. I thought that “ Oh well now I know why I can see what others cant, and feel what others cant ( in the spirit realm)and Allowed me to enegae in the spirit realm illegally. I didnt know this was an aboniation to God! i wasnt aware of that I was drawn to this.. beacuse I was sensitive to this realm. PRAISE GOD that he created me. he foremd me in my Mothers womb he knew my innner most being and with that Knew i would be.. he created me to be this way For HIS KINGDOM HIS PURPOSE. and yes it had to be at the roght opptune time. That i came to the Kingdom. Did I come in all Fluffy everything great. Huge Fluffy hearst etc. Nope! It was under the weight of sin ... i was in a deep dark mess. PITT. and onlt god could get me out of that. He knew my heart He knew my intent he knew LOVE resided Stringly in me. No Hate no evil.. so he knew that even though i was engaing in t he wrong thing it was in ignorance. as I hadnt been told the truth. I was infact once told the truth. awakened wow. was I awakened. and Then HOLY SPIRIT CAME. and I never looked back. He showed me bit by bit the teacher what to do. how to break thingso ff. Where to turn what to get rid of, what was from his Kingdom waht wasnt. all By His hand. all by his spirit. he didnt hold and keep record of the things i had done wrong. he knew my heart. LOVE SEES PAST this. Loves Hold no account of things done wrong. it over rides it.
I was placed in a place Just like paul where i had a moment of wow Lord I really thought i was doing your work here on earth but id been decievd and in fact it was displeasing to Him. and abomination. SO as Paul was blinded on the damascus road and spent time like this.... a moment... I too spent time Unjable to anything for myself. Totally in realisatiion that God is in control and that i cant do anything I need him. I did turn his face from me for a moment. I felt it.... Isaiah 54 read that. It was as if all hell was up at me.. every demonic stratagey coming at me.. no matter what i did Innocently. Until i saw that... one day I screamed why father why/ he showed me EZ 28 he showed me it was satan causing this destruction in my life and that I needed to change and I needed to come to God.
And that is exactly what I did. he didnt write me off every time i messed up. he knew my heart.
God said through Isaiah the prophet in the book of Isaiah:
Isaiah 43 "I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more.” He is Pure LOVE. He cant look on Sin.
I had to forgive myself for doing what I did to God. Who I loved so much! If I hadn’t that would have been a door for the enemy to step in and take hold of things in my life.
I also found out that even as a Christian, God is faithful to forgive us when we miss it and do something that is against what God says we are to do. If we confess our sin and turn away from it ( repent) He is faithful to forgive us it says in 1 John 1:9. I found out so many wonderful promises that God has for any believer. My life was changed forever and I finally awakened to my true one not one under deception.
I had Gods free gift of love in me and anyone else who accepts Christ into their heart and life can have the same. Its free!
God and Jesus saw my heart before I was saved and managed to get the truth to me. It was then up to me to accept it, If I hadn’t I would have still been under the devils territory and terrible things would have continued to happen to me. God couldn’t do too much as I was separated in spirit from him but once I accepted Jesus Christ Gods spirit and mine became one as said in
1 Corinthians 6:17 tells us that "he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit"
When we accept Jesus into our life and heart via asking him to come.. as LORD and Saviour. The HOLY SPIRIT comes to Live in you.. awakens your spirit to the FULL TRUTH!
“Love keeps no record of wrong”
God keeps his promises. He does what He says. Jesus does what He says and through Him we too can do what is right. For you , for your family and for God and Jesus too.
Galatians 6:7 is a great scripture and biblical law so what you give out to others, Forgiveness is a must. How you conduct your behaviour and what you sow into the world Gods word says you will reap! Know the love of Christ and the Love of God. Learn what the bibles says which is the truth about this world and what is actually happening here.
Now some people are not going to like Galatians 6:7? it’s the truth and these types of people can't bare to be in the truth. It says in Gods word;
1 Corinthians 1:8 “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish is foolishness; but to us which are saved it is the power of God.” Perish means to decay, To die or be destroyed! God does not want that for any of His beloved children; no matter what you have done or haven’t done. He loves You. He loved you that much He sent His son to die for you and free you should you choose from the clutches of satanic oppression and strongholds operating in the world today as we have seen in Ephesians 6:12
Jesus showed to his followers how his father operates,
Mat 6:14 “For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.”
Mat 6:15 “But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. “
Mark 11:25 "And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins."
So we know God is a God of Forgiveness and He will forgive all that a person has ever done if you ask Him to Forgive you, He wants you to ask Him so He can!
Lets take a look at what Jesus was subjected to and forgave all of this. Isaiah was a prophet of God (a seer able to speak what God wants spoken about future events). This prophet foretold what God wanted people to know. On this occasion, He prophesied about the coming of Jesus Christ and what He was to endure. It is such a powerful scripture is explains what he was to go through. And we all know that this actually happened.
Isaiah 53"He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem. Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted.
But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth. By oppression and judgment he was taken away.
Yet who of his generation protested? For he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people he was punished. He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death,
though he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth. Yet it was the LORD’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer, ( for us to save us bring us back to him through Jesus’s sinless blood sprinkled in heaven on mercy seat) this legally gave us authority again through him over satan should we chose to except Christ and though the LORD makes his life an offering for sin, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the LORD will prosper in his hand. After he has suffered, he will see the light of life and be satisfied; by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities."
This is in short is exactly what he went through. Isaiah Gods prophet Foretold this thousands of year before it came to pass and it was to the letter! We know the story of the cross, But we don’t really look at how it all happened and to what extent it happened. How he was hated, ganged up against, plotted against, treated despicably and cruelly for doing good. If these people had of known what they were doing and why Jesus actually came to earth ( to save man) as we have seen; they would not have done what they did. They were under deception and walking in their emotion realm. Fearing and feeling inadequate to Jesus and the light. He still forgave them.
Ok so how do I forgive others for what they have done or forgive myself?
Jesus went through the ultimate of rejections, abandonment and being badly done to and He forgave all man. I can relate to this having been abandoned at five years old by my natural mother and living with a family who most were no blood. I was told at age 13 years that my father was not my really my father! In fact that my whole life had been a lie including my second name.
I have lived A JOSPEH type Life. One that was sold out... One where lost my family attempts to loose my repuation through Lies and manipulation. Character assasination. I was even put in Prison... Four walled. Housebound unwell.. this assault took place while I was unwell. You see people will come at you when they see you at your weakest YET when you have God backing your corner. It is HIS STRENGTH they meet with..... i didnt fight back. I didnt relatiliate. try to straighten things out I left the lies. I left the nay sayers I left the character assasinaters and knew that TIME would always be my alley!
Time would show this to be FALSE!
Jospeh to had much time in prison he kept his heart on God. His focus on Him not on the worng that had been done to him. God did tunr Jospehs story around even when people who should have recopgnised him didnt and mentioned him left him STILL in Proson he didnt get bitter. He waited patiently!!!! For GODS T IME.....
You can regain what satan stole from you and you can stop people hurting you and manipulating you over and over. You can be in control. Jesus will help you. Gods love obliterates evil. Use faith in God and have patience and watch things turn around. Forgive. Jesus is right there waiting to help you and God wants to give you His free gifts of LOVE to enable you to do so.
Take this by FAITH. If I did, You can right? I had a choice so does all people. Its all about making the right one. Use your Faith.
Jesus went through tremendous times of sorrow and grief and the hands of others. Instead of receiving His love, miracles and light they hated him, they beat him. Conspired against him. They bullied him, they ganged up on him and they were only strong in a group. They did so because they could not be in the light or have light revealed to them as they were of the darkness by choice. He was even rejected by the very ones He picked out to teach and guide with the ultimate truth even; though He knew all this ahead of time of course.
He gave everything and more. He gave His whole life to mankind making himself of no reputation it says in the bible other than serving and trying to save its people. Healing them of their illness, pain and brokenness and he was betrayed by the very man who had walked with him, sat under his ministry; This man had felt his presence and the power of god working on and through him. He saw miracle's, healings much goodness and love take place. He saw Jesus live what he preached and taught. This man was Judas Iscariot.
Jesus knew Judas was going to do this to him. Look where Judas is now. Its so sad he is in Hell. How do you know its real? Are willing to wait and find out? Hell is described as torment and burning, pain, evil like you have never seen; continually non stop forever, for eternity. It was created for evil to dwell there only; for the devil, his fallen angels and followers. Separate from goodness, LOVE and all its people. Judas had a choice, he chose wrong. He paid the price for that. Did Jesus want that for him? NO. What was the route cause for the betrayal? MONEY! Greed justified in his eyes what Jesus was to endure. Money got in the way. This happens with many trivial issues like jealousy, insecurities, lusts, the list goes on. All are the devils corner. But Jesus wants to helps anyone with these. He wants people to see things as He does. For people to know who they are and not what the devil has made them feel all these years! He wants to help them overcome darkness because anything like this is not from Him or God. It is part of the curse and you can be free from this because of what Jesus has already paid in FULL. His power is available. His love is there, His forgiveness is there. His compassion and mercy is there. Take it. Why did they do this to such a wonderful man who went about only doing good. Surely he did something wrong? NO.
The truth hurts a lot of people and it is easier to reject, deny, blame or set up another than to actually walk in the truth and be corrected. Peoples egos get in the way and instead they lash out at the very ones who do good. It is abusing what God has given and not acceptable but if Jesus forgave them for doing such terrible things then so will I and so should you.
Jesus had been up all night in the garden of Gethsemane where he cried, petrified to his gorgeous father in heaven about what was to come and what he was to endure. He knew what was coming and it was to much for him to bare. He was so afraid for that short space of time but not so much over what the people were to do to him and the pain he was to endure more; so because he was to be separated from his father in heaven for three days and nights while he went to hell sinless. He had to endured the heavy weight of all of mankind’s sin and in fact he became sin see : 2 Corinthians 5:21 “For he has made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”
Jesus’s second to last words on the cross were “ Father forgive them for they know not what they do” He had just been through the most horrific physical mental torture. He was about to go through spiritual torture at the hands of these people totally innocent also. He was abused, beaten to unrecognisable. Thorns pushed in his head. Humiliated, stripped naked, rejected, arms pulled out of there sockets, nails placed in his hands and feet and hung on a cross next to a murderer and a thief. He even took the thief to paradise with him. Why? Because the thief recognised he was indeed the son of God and innocent. He was indeed HOLY and He called out to Jesus. What did Jesus do? Say excuse me I’m going through my own stuff right now. NO. He said “ This day You will be with me in paradise”. the thief was forgiven, as were the people who killed Jesus. They realised what they had done afterwards when He died and the sun left, darkness came, as did a huge storm and earthquake. The Roman soldiers, Pharisees and scribes ran in terror and hid!
He wet through all this yet chose to forgive. It was how love works.
We see how Jesus operated Lets us see more of how God operates.
God has great love and mercy for mankind as we have already seen in previous blogs and its gets better, His mercies are new everyday it says in Lamentations 3:22 “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
Psalm 103:12 is one of the most encouraging verses regarding God's forgiveness:
"As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us." The apostle Paul prayers a very powerful prayer in it is says:
Cols 1:13-14“For he ( Jesus ) has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins."
This is Love. God loves us and doesn’t want us sowing evil and poison to each other and we have seen some of the reasons why. You will receive back what you have judged another with. In right judgement or unjustified. God cannot help you fully in circumstances or areas of your life when you are holding on to un forgiveness or judging or having a grudge on another and as we have seen previously in other blogs its a foothold ( ground solid) in your life for the enemy. We have seen God does not want you to submit to satans way of doing things but rather His way. His word says “Submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you” That means the devil has no ground when you walk the way God/Jesus say you are to walk. His way is the right way, the best way, the protected way, a beneficial way, the most powerful way, the most rewarding way, His way will bring you massive results and success, His way will bring you joy beyond happiness this is JOY! It will bring treasure inside you, power and victory in your life. His way is full of protection against the darts of the evil one. Please read Psalm 91 over you and your family daily if you have come to Christ. What a powerful Prayer and this shows you exactly the protection you are under with God when in his will! His way crushes the adversary every time instead of elevating him up. Why would people want pure evil to still reign when they have heard the truth. Some are good- some are bad!
See John 3:19 Lets pick it up at John 3:17 onwards: “ For God did not send the Son into the world to judge ( reject, condemn, to pass sentence) on the world, but that the world might find salvation and be safe and sound through Him. He who believes in Him ( who clings to, trust in, relies on Him) is not judged( He who trusts in Him never comes up for judgement: for him there is no rejection, no condemnation. But He who does not believe is judged already (He has already been convicted and has already received His sentence) because he has not believed in and trusted on the name of the begotten Son of God. Verse 19 The basis of the judgement ( indictment, the test by which men are judged lies in this: The light has come into the world and the people (some) have loved the darkness (easy route) rather than and more than the light for their works were evil. Verse 20 For the wrongdoer hates the light and will not come out into the light but shrinks from it. Lest His works ( his deeds activities his conduct) be exposed and reproved. But He who practises truth ( who does what is right) comes out into the light: so that his works may be plainly shown to be what they are wrought with God ( divinely prompted, done with Gods help, in dependence upon Him)
Many different people tried to suppress His truth, His miracles and His Love and the scripture we have just seen shows why BUT Light is too powerful for darkness as said in the book of John.
God can change even the worst most sick and evil of persons with a blink of an eye. That’s the power of love. The adversary devil doesn’t want you to have love, for to experience Gods love; He knows its power and so many people easily let him steal their life. Make a decision to be in control and not your emotions or the circumstance that hit you. God wants you to give every situation to him that has caused offence. See yourself giving all to him. Name them, he is the one who is to deal with the situations not you. And you will find that it really does get sorted out. God never forgets his own. The bible shows this over and over. Hebrew 13 “ I will never leave you nor forsake you”. If you are not with God yet invite Jesus in now. Say that simple prayer Use your FAITH. You will be forgiven and you will have the ability inside of you and the help of the Holy Spirit to forgive and let go of all that has hurt or offended you and is holding you back.
Rid the poison. “Knowledge is power” a famous quotation we hear all the time Gods Knowledge and wisdom is priceless So imagine the ultimate of knowledge and truth, Gods word and what do you have then? Explosive power!
God is your maker, your his craftsmanship, His delight, See previous blog. Straightening issues like un forgiveness out is his pleasure but it boils down to whether the person actually wants to or not. He wont ever force anything on anyone. Or deceive them, He gives you a choice.. That’s very difficult to forgive when someone is hurting? Yes in your strength it is, in your own strength you want to hurt the person who is hurting you? Doesn’t mean to say that it is right. Jesus said it isn’t. God said “love keeps no record of wrongs”. It is hard not to hold things against a person who is hurting you or yours. Or hold things against a situation. But Jesus said “come to me all who are heavy burdened and laden and I will give you rest” .
We are not able in our own efforts and strength at times to do these kinds of things and God knew this which is why we don’t have to; we can do this in His strength not ours. He offers you the chance to forgive others, He is offering it to you right now. Take it Ask for his strength to forgive those who have harmed you or done wrong to you. God will deal with them, don’t wish anything on them. Pity them with a heart like that they are in real trouble, More than they could ever know. That’s unless they invite Jesus Christ into their life and they are forgiven. All is forgiven. Same goes for the person who has done damage to another and feels bad about this or feels guilty and cant forgive yourself for something you think has messed up along the lines. What ever your situation Forgive. Let go, do not record wrong no more. Instead receive Gods free gift of love. This is Gods LOVE. Unconditional, no matter what you have done or ever going to do. His love for you will never alter as we have seen. His love wont waiver like mans does and it is not interchangeable when it suits. see previous blogs. His love deos'nt reject.
Just because we are to forgive it doesn’t mean to say that we agree or condone the damage done either!. Not at all, in fact you will do well if it’s a person we are talking about in keeping away from them in the future, and just pray for them they have a lot of issues. God says we have to forgive, but it is NOT for His benefit but for yours only. This is Love. . . This is so sad and is happening all over the world and doesn’t need to be! It is so fixable, God is calling out to you to fix it. He has been there throughout saying if only you knew how it is really was and how much your are loved and beautiful and talented and gifted then things would be very different.
Walking in Gods free gift His LOVE His spirit!
Do you know when you have excepted Jesus into your life then you no longer have to walk around in the emotional realm ( soul realm) emotions (dictates peoples feelings, wellbeing, behaviour, attitudes) and their course of life and instead you are able to walk in a higher way. In the spirit. This is letting your spirit control your everyday life guiding you, taking control of situations for you. How Because Jesus Christ and His Holy Spirit come to enable you and live in you when you are awakened, We have seen this in previous blogs. Here’s an example of the mighty blessings walking in the spirit brings. I was driving out of my home road and where we are, we have to either turn left or right onto one of the very busy main road in Liverpool. it’s a main route throughout Liverpool to commuters. I was about to turn right, indicator on, all was clear. I had a car coming towards me and was indicating to turn off at the road before mine and just before I did this I heard my spirit say wait. Thankfully I did wait and the car driver even though they had their indicators on to turn right at the road before mine didn’t turn right, it carried on and drove past me at high speed. If I had have not been able to hear from God in my spirit there would have been a serious crash. I would have gone right into the car them straight head and me on my side the drivers side and Lord knows what would have happened. This is how important walking in the spirit is. This is why God wants you to receive His gift of love so he can do things like that for you and it is only possible through Christ. But not only that it is there to build you up with good things. Like peace, joy, meekness, kindness as we have already see in Galatians 5:22. God nature and attributes given to us as a free gift. This is how we are able to forgive. You are also able to forgive through faith because a lot of people do walk in their souls realm in their emotions and don’t feel like forgiving, Don’t go off your feelings. Your feelings and perception is marred at that time due to hurt and pain. Use your measure of Faith ( we all have one God gave us all a measure of faith) see Romans 12:3
Even if you have been treated so badly as I was not just then but through my life. It is possible and a must if you are to have a good life and be able to give to others in the process.
Jesus did it, I have done it through His help and love, Millions of other people have done it to. Including people who have been sexually abused. People who have been beaten by their partners and again the list could go on and on. I shared a little part of my testimony to give you an idea of some of the things I have personally had to face. Was it love NO. Did God want this for me? NO. Did the devil Yes! And it was the devil who was able to influence the persons involved BUT people have a choice. Everyone knows right from wrong. God gave us a freewill ( the power to choose) part of your soul realm. Ruled by how you feel! They chose badly. And I’m here to tell you that satan helps you if you aren’t aware of his strategies. We have seen this in previous blogs so please take a look. People make mistakes and some actually mean it either way its down to a choice.
Un forgiveness “ keeping hold of a record of wrong” is a poison just like bitterness, anger, envy as we have already seen in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. A grudge is a dangerous place to be in, It is not letting go. Not releasing your feelings towards another or situation. Its holding on to stuff you are not meant to hold onto. It turns into bitterness and we have touched on this too in previous blogs. God would not say Un forgiveness is not love unless it was for your benefit and very important. Un forgiveness will give the devil room in your life. It is a dangerous place! Don’t be there!

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails."Wow! it’s a deep subject and we are only really touching the surface here. I want to encourage you to continue in your studies of seeking knowledge and the truth.

This weeks Message...
Hello guys, I trust you have had a wonderful week. God is so good, Loves Living Word Ministries Uk has been very busy this week. God healed a 78 year old lady who had a very bad fall and was found on the floor this week. This lady is recently saved praise God. God made sure that even after a bad fall and a very sore rib area and body that she was free from pain. She was dazed, confused and very unsettled however Gods peace enveloped her. His peace was upon the whole family.
She had his angels and favor at the hosptal also, in fact she was out the same day and seen within a few hours in a very busy hospital in Liverpool. (she noted that this has not happened before and on other occasions they had been there hours upon hours.) This is how God works. He doesnt want anyone to suffer and takes care of the very small details aswell. How good is God! I am please to say that this lady has now moved in with her son, who is a nurse so God is looking after her very well. She has a very special daughter who is a nurse also who stayed by her side throughout. This is all in a few short days! Prayer is a powerful tool and so is the laying of hands which was adminisitered to this lady and boy has God done his work. Gods word spoken over her helped in the healing process and within a few days she looked so bright and well.Loves Living Word Ministries Uk has contunued to support the family and this is ongoing!
God loves her so much, he loves all his children even 78 year old children!
Loves Living Word Ministries Uk saw another lady come into the kingdom of God this week. How wonderful!
This lady has been under the influence of demonic stuff. She opened herself and her family up to darkness by being involved in tarot, spiritism, meduimship and the occult in general. She had experienced terrible consequences to this including a house fire and many other opressive situations. The devil steps in when a person has an awareness that there is something else, some are more aware that its not just us than others. Some dont care, dont be like that because one day you will.
God saw this ladies heart and Loves Living Word Ministries Uk was able to guide her through many scriptures concerning occult practises and the deception of the devil. It shows that all are an abomination to God and all are run by the disguised "angel of light" Satan as said in scripture. I know this too well having experienced occult backlash myself by being sensitive to the spirit realm. I was (an ex medium, audient and voyant). I found out that Gods word is the ultimate truth and the sad things was it had been there all along, I just hadnt took the time to read it and unfortnately not been shown the truth by the church at the time! Well the last place you are going to read is the boring bible right? How wrong I was! It is not just me but billions of people have found out the wonders of Gods breathed word through His prophets. And it really did change my life for the better. I was freed from tormenting spirits that had attached themselves to me. Back to this lady, she through prayer recieved Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She is now free from the control and dominion of satan, She is keen to come to Living Faith Fellowship, my home church and burnt all stuff related to darkness her tarot cards! God is so good His mercy endures forever it says in the Psalms. Even though what she was doing was an abomination to Him as said in scripture; He made sure The Holy Ghost directed Loves Living Word Ministries to her just in time. She was really at the end of her rope having gone through so much. Loves Living Word Ministries is giving her on going support through prayer, comfort and guidance. God has reached her, He saw that the family was in need of help and that it was way out of mans control. He is the God of the supernateral, nothing can stand against Him. As there have been many unseen events this week;
I have not yet had chance to finish this weeks message. So after careful consideration, I am going to continue with this message next week instead. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 Recieve the gift of Love.

Isaiah 8:9 "When men tell you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living?"
How do I know all this well the bible showed me? I was under the deception too! I nearly lost everything,( if you are nice and good by nature you may be having a hard time) Go to Gods word, He will show you what to do. Dont make that same mistake I did with the occult! Steer clear of all such things. Why do I care? LOVE! And I have just seen the devastating affects it has with many including the lady we have shared about this week. I was like the Paul, one of Gods apostles who thought He was working for God and infact he found out that He was working for satan instead. God saw His heart saw that He indeed did love God but he was nder great deception so Jesus spoke to Him and said "Saul, Saul ( his name then) we do you persecute me"? ACTS 9:4 read it!

14/05/2011 Receive the gift of Love... 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
Welcome back,
I trust you have had a wonderful week in The Name of Jesus Christ. I have! Its been an exciting time. Loves Living Word Ministries UK is helping people overcome certain issues. I have pointed them to Jesus Christ and Gods word.
I am pleased to say there is progress. Quick progress. Next week I have an appointment with a lady who The Holy Ghost has appointed for me to see. This lady has had a lot of problems ranging from a house fire and loosing all, to occult activities. Loves Living Word Ministries will show her that all Occult is of the devil as stated in the bible and after having extensive experience in this field myself I can share my testimony. A note for this week. Stay away from any movies that contains dark stuff in. For instance the New move “insidious”
I was saddened to see that this movie is advertised as well as others in the past with a picture and displayed on telephone booths for little kids to see. This is how bad the times are getting. It is not exceptable. Anyone who watches anything like this is opening themselves up to demonic stuff. I can speak from experience! The bible is very clear on this.
In Psalm 4:23 its says “ guard your heart ( your spirit ) with all vigilance (alertness /watchfulness) and above all that you guard, for out of it flows the springs of life.” ( what you watch, listen too, is so important) you are what you are around is what your life will be. You must feed on good things this nurtures and makes you spirit grow. Feeding on evil like that movie (about demons) will damage you and open you up for demonic attack.) God wouldn’t tell you this otherwise! Everything He says to you is for your benefit not His. He loves you and doesn’t want you to go through more than you already have done.
Oh that’s a load of rubbish. I don’t believe it. You better believe it. Because that is exactly what is happening and it happened to me! Do a small search on the New world Order and illuminati and you will see that the governments around the world and people in power are worshipping Guess who? The devil. Certain music stars also. Then when you have done a small search not concentrating to much on it just enough for you see what is happening around you, you will have then seen the truth on this. You should seek the Ultimate truth in Gods word concentrate on this, this is your strength you will see in the New Testament as we have already seen “how Jesus went about doing good and healing all who was oppressed of the devil for God was with Him” Acts 10:38 . You really can be free from torment, bad things happening to you and your family, generational illnesses, curses, addictions. Jesus is the Answer. And we will have a look at “Love is not easily angered.
Well isn’t this a difficult one! Not easily angered. How do you stay calm for example when someone is hurting your child? I can say from experience that it is very difficult to do in your own strength. Or if you are being wrongly accused and treated badly. Again I can say from experience that this one was a lot easier. In fact I was blessed to know that if stayed humble then the truth always comes out and guess what? It did and still is now. Time is a great ally if you have patience. I was blessed with Gods patience, one of the fruits of the spirit as said in Galatians 5:22 . You gain The Lords strength once you are born again, We have already seen how to become born again in previous blogs please look again.
When someone is angry, what is the worst thing you can do to fuel that anger? Is to get angry back? Anger and rage are not Gods nature and is the devils and now mans. It is through emotions triggered by a persons circumstance or what ever that anger is caused. Emotions stem from the soul realm of a person. God wants you to get past your soul realm (power to feel-emotions, Power to choose-will and power to know-intellect) and walk in the spirit realm. A higher calling! We have already seen that we are a three part being as God is one with three separate persons. Please see previous blog for this. John 14:10
Lets see a definition of what emotions actually are as stated in Wikipedia.
Emotions:
1. A natural instinctive state of mind deriving from one's circumstances, mood, or relationships with others.
2. Any of the particular feelings that characterize such a state of mind, such as joy, anger, love, hate, horror, etc
The love that is expressed in number 2 talks about the feeling type of love, not Gods agape love. We have already seen the different types of love in previous blogs.
You have the ability to walk in your higher calling, the spirit once you are born again. This is the only way to salvation as scripture says. Gods spirit really does come and live in you to enable you guide you help you. Millions of people are now awakened/resurrected and many more will. Don’t miss out through fear, ignorance or pride Your eternal salvation depends upon this.
I pray in the name of Jesus Christ to have your spiritual eyes opened, To be given a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the deep and intimate knowledge of our heavenly Father God, By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light so you know the hope to which you are called and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints ( set apart ones). In Jesus Christ Holy Name amen.
Ephesians 1:17 -23
This is a great prayer to pray. The Holy Spirit through Apostle Paul of Tarsus wrote this while he was imprisoned for spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
This prayer is so powerful, I guarantee If you pray this Prayer in Faith for a few months Your eyes will be opened. Dare you see the Truth?
What is the opposite of anger? Peace and calm!
We have already seen in a previous blog what Jesus said to his disciples as He was preparing them for His parting ( the Cross and ascension to Heaven):

God gave us another helper when Jesus Christ left the world to endure all the suffering He bore on our behalf and sprinkled Jesus His blood on the mercy seat as a propitiation of our sins.
What does propitiation mean?
1. Taking punishment on behalf of another; as in Jesus receiving the penalty for our sins, so that we can avoid a terrible punishment that we deserve. (this is through the fall as we have seen in Genesis 3 Mans seperation from God . (Through mans choice to rebel against God) (the devil/ satan deceived Eve, but Adam made the deliberate choice in Genesis 3).We have learnt in a previous blog that the bible is infallible proof. ( incapable of error, not liable to deceive, mislead or disappoint)
It is the only truth. I shared a little on prophecies 1000’s of which have been given throughout the years and most have come true and in fact 300 Jesus Christ fulfilled himself. Don’t Just take my word for it. Study for yourself. What a wonderful study! Check out for yourself the prophecies ( foretelling of future events) that have come true. It will open you eyes further and give you infallible proof that The bible is the ultimate truth. Anyone who doesn’t believe and does this study can not doubt the accuracy of the bible and the fact that nothing ever has come close to this.
2. Removing/covering the thing that caused the offence in the first place. Hebrews 10:17 “ I will remember their sins and their lawless deeds no more.”
So we see that Jesus Christ because of Gods love for you, did all this to bring us back to God, But the point I am sharing is that When Jesus said to His disciples in :
John 14:27

The peace Jesus was talking about was not of a human kind, It was a supernatural kind. A God kind! It is more than calmness, it’s the ability to not give in to your senses and fight back.
We have already shared in a previous blog that Jesus told His disciples that when He leaves God would send another In Jesus Name. (This was referring to The Holy Spirit or Ghost)
Lets us see in John 14:26 in the previous verse what Jesus said:
“But the Comforter (Counsellor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you.”
Have a read of Johns Gospel in the New Testament, It is the most beautiful of all Gospels and you will see exactly what Jesus told His disciples. People are missing out on the best jewels of wisdom and knowledge by either not knowing or being ignorant to it. Don’t miss out on these wonderful jewels,
Back in the dark ages the bible was chained to the pulpit and the common person unable to see it. Do some history research and see. The book is not a fable it is real and supernatural. It will change your life for the very best of the best. What by reading the bible? YES! Its alive remember as in Hebrews 4:12 as we have already seen. Its not an ordinary book, that you get off the shelf. It is an account of what God has shared for US through people who were set apart for that very purpose. Its supernatural! The ultimate of Supernatural. The real truth about the supernatural! The world has been under great deception.
Learn how to interpret the bible. God will show you how if you have faith and believe.
We see in John 14 that Jesus said that He gives any born again believer His peace How? By the Holy Spirit/Ghost coming to live inside your spirit.
This is in place of Jesus Christ and only through Jesus Christ. The Holy spirit was sent to act on behalf of Jesus, representing Jesus. When you receive this gift of love You are re born, your spirit which was dormant to God is now awakened/ resurrected unto Him) if you except Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior.
You are no longer separated from Him and you are alive unto righteousness. We have looked at this in my previous blogs.
Romans 10:9-11
“Because if You acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus Christ is Lord and in you heart believe that He was raised from the dead you will be saved,
For the heart of a person believes and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God) and with the mouth He confesses ( declares openly and speaks out in faith) and confirms His salvation. The scripture says no man who believes in Him will ever be put to shame or disappointed.”
What does this have to do with Love? Everything! This is Gods love for you as we have already shared. Jesus paid the ultimate penalty once and for all for you so you could have a relationship with your Father who is in Heaven.
But God went further than eternal salvation ( where you will go when you pass on) God your Father, gave you gifts to use here on this earth enabling you to be free from the likes of bitterness, envy, jealousy, as we have seen in previous blogs.
So we now see that it is more than possible not to get angry and it is not by our own effort but by Gods abilities working in and through us when you except Christ in to your life. You except Gods free gifts of love one being the Holy Spirit who is representing Jesus Christ acting on His behalf.
Anger can make you sick, it can turn your hair grey before your time. It will make you old and grey before your time. It robs you of what you were supposed to have. Have you seen a person who is always constantly an angry person by nature? Their stature and face says it all. Anger is another poison to steer clear of and can be held onto for years and years. God does not want you to hold onto anger or react in rage as this is damaging you and your life and the life of others. It will hold you back and kill you before your time!
We have seen that envy, bitterness, self seeking or prideful are not Love in:
1 Corinthinans 13:4-5, and so anger is not from love. The good things is you really don’t have to strive and struggle in this area. God has done it all for you by giving you one of the greatest of gifts The Holy Ghost. Your Father either gave you the this gift if you are saved or is offering this gift to you if you are not now today; to enable you to experience things beyond your wildest imaginations. To maximise your life and those around you to their full potential and beyond. But also to protect you from the adversary we have already discussed in previous blogs the devil ( fallen Angel). Anger is a huge door for satan to keep a foot hold in your life.
Ephesians 4:26 “ When angry do not sin, do not ever let your wrath last until the sun goes down. Leave no such room or foothold for the devil.”
A foothold in military talk is:
“The capture of a small area of enemy territory, which can be used as a base for mounting or supporting further attacks”
This is exactly what is happening every time you hold onto anger, you stay angry, you breed anger, or you become angry. God doesn’t just say things like “love is not angry” for nothing or it is not for His benefit as we have seen in previous blogs. This clearly shows that it is for your benefit not his. He does not want you to have the enemy ( the devil ) who is real, whether you believe it or not gain a foot hold in your life. Because once He has, He isn’t going away unless you have Gods knowledge and wisdom, the foothold becomes bigger and bigger. God wants you to know that anger will give the enemy (satan) room in your life. To do what? “To Kill To steal and destroy” John 10:10 as we have already seen ( see previous blogs ).
In the New international version of the bible NIV we see in 1 Peter 5:8 that it says:
“Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.”
Other versions say “ Be sober and alert ”.
Do you think being self controlled is not being angry? I do. Lets see why it says not to be like that? We see that “the enemy prowls like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour”.
By the way, He is only like this to people who are not under Gods protection through Christ Jesus. Even if things seem to be going ok, and you have had a decent life, no drama and a good one. And you think well nothing has come up against me. Things in this life are temporal (subject to change). We know this by people walking out of there home and getting knocked down and killed. We know this by a sudden illness that hit’s the family and devastates. And the list could go on. All things bad come from satan, illness, accidents, family break ups, its all part of the fall/Curse. Its not a safe place to be if you think “I am ok nothing could ever happen to me“. In fact that is Pride one of the devils prime weapons against mankind!
“Be sober and alert“ as the other translation says in 1 Peter 5:8 . Being sober and alert is not being in pride and thinking nothing will ever happen to me or mine.
You are certainly not to be tormented and fearful all the time about what is to come or to happen to you or yours either; this is the exact opposite of being sober and alert. You are to have full confidence in what Christ did for you and for all people and to Know that you are now saved from this.. You are to know that you have been given many beautiful wonderful Gifts (which are true treasures) not like the kind you find on your finger or in the bank! See Mathew 6:19
Jesus clearly says in His word that we are no to worry or be anxious, and as we were looking at:
John 14:27

He says we are not to be afraid or have our hearts troubled. Your heart is clearly troubled if you are agitated and disturbed. Would you say anger covers agitated and disturbed? I would. Gods peace covers every form of anything that can come up against you in your life. Be it a person/s or circumstance. His peace is more than enough. You do not have to submit to anger and I can talk from experience and yes I am still learning in this area as every person is... I can say God’s ability in me is enough and He has defused times when I have wanted to lash back out in anger at a person for their wrong doing or at a situation I was faced with. Anger comes in many forms from pettiness to full on rage and attacks. It could be when you are driving in the car and someone pulls out in front of you and you scream at them. That was aggressive, or someone stole your place in the queue at the post office or wherever. I have had many an argument with people in the past ( before I was saved ) over a 1 metre of space in a queue. I will have argued because they pushed in and they were in the wrong mind it was a “I was here first before you scenario“.! But looking back I can see how petty it was and how that shaped the rest of my day! It bred poison into my world. Anger is dangerous and breeds arguments, fights, conflicts, rifts, break ups, loss of relationships. Anger is the devils way, peace is Gods. You can chose Gods, You can chose to override your own feelings and walk in Gods spirit and boy is it powerful. The Holy spirit is your teacher and He helps you over come anger. You have to let it go, don’t hold on to it. How would you feel if I told you that peace defuses anger. That it obliterates it? It’s the truth it does. Why? Its part of Love, Love obliterates evil full stop. That is where you get statements like “takes a better man to walk away” ( from conflict) . This is why it so important to walk in Love especially in these last days not just for yourself. But for others too. God sees past you to everyone else as well. We are all equal to Him. He loves us all the same. Non more than another as we have already seen in a previous blog.
God sees the intentions and purposes of the heart as it says in Hebrews 4:12. That’s all hearts, everyone’s. So He knows when you have missed it and you didn’t mean it. You were just having a bad day and pressure has been mounting. He knows everyone’s heart and their intentions whether it was actually meant or not. he knows whether you weher set up Pushed trapped by the devil... Pressed in on every side... he knows......There is no escaping this. So as you try to do as Gods word says and you miss it and lash out; Do not condemn yourself. Its says “therefore there is no condemnation to those that are in Christ Jesus” in
Romans 8:1. That means NONE. You are to use His precious Gift of forgiveness which is next weeks message! “Love keeps no record of wrong”
Guilt and shame and in this case, over anger is another tool the devil uses in keeping you away from God and His people. Now you know there is “no condemnation in Christ” Remember it.
Psalm 103:8 “ The lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and plenteous in mercy and loving Kindness”
Psalm 30:5 “His ( the Lords) Anger is but for a moment, But His favor is for a lifetime.”
As I have shared and will continue to share. Keep a short account with Father Give him your feelings....every liottle thing that tries to creep up! anyting anyone does to you Injustice heartache. Sorrow suffereing and yes bleoved one you will go through those if you are a TRUE believer in Christ walking in his ways. You will be persecuted even by the church! sadly to say. Remeber there are & end time churches ONLY " operate with GODS CHARACTER and SPIRITS
There are people who have literally beaten up women to and inch of their life and been forgiven loved on and cared for so why cant you be? Never let anyone hold anything against you. LOVE KEEPS NO RECORD OF WRONG!
Anyone doing so is not oeprating in the Spirit of GOD
We have already seen How much your heavenly Father loves you in the previous messages on Love so far.
Lets take a look at how He sees you once you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and savior.
You are in right standing with Him, great confession! I have been made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. See 2 Corithinans 5:18 You are no longer separated by sin and you are righteous in Gods sight. Just like the thief who was on the cross next to Jesus before He left the earth. Jesus said to Him “This day You will be with me in paradise” Why? Because The thief recognised He was the son of God and Said so. See Gospels New Testament.
Biblical Righteousness means Justified, Restored, forgiven, Son/daughter ship.
There are so many scriptures throughout the bible on righteousness and being righteous so it is very important! You are in right standing with God no matter what you have done in the past, it is forgiven and not even remembered, Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. If Gods word says it and you have asked Jesus into your heart through faith asking for forgiveness then that settled that issue up. Gods word is the truth. No condemnation to those in Christ.
You are redeemed from the curse of the law as it says in Galatians 3:13
“ Christ purchased our freedom (redeeming us) from the curse (doom) of the law (and its condemnation) by Himself becoming a curse for us
(not just bearing all our sin but becoming sin) as it is written in the scriptures, Cursed is everyone who hangs on the tree (this was prophecy back in Leviticus Old Testament)
God sees you as his child:
We see in The old Testament the Lord Spoke the Prophet Jeremiah
In Jeremiah 1:5 He said to Jeremiah “before I formed you in the womb in knew you ” That goes for all of us, God can do that He is past present and future all in one. He is Omnipresent.
So before you are even created by your mum and dad before you were formed. God Knew you!
In Mathew 7:7-12 Jesus is talking to His disciples and He is sharing of the wonders of God His father and yours. He shares that in verse 7-12
“Ask, and it shall be given unto you; seek and you shall find; knock and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man is among you who, if his son or daughter asks for bread will you give him a stone? Or if He asks for fish, will he give him a serpent? If then you, Beng evil ( through the fall Genesis 3) know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!“
You are precious to your own parents (unless you were abandoned or rejected, you will have suffered pain but you have been very blessed, as you have only had Father God and His angels to be there for you and He is the very best of the all parents!) If only people knew how special they really are to him and remove the lie that has been forced upon them all their lives that God is full of wrath. God even knows the number of hairs on your head! Jesus teaches of God and how important people are to him, but also the fear of Him, He is the almighty Lord, He is behind you in all things (got your back) Big Time! So Jesus shares this with his disciples and followers and says in Luke 12:6-7 “ Are not five sparrows ( birds) sold for two pennies? And yet not one of them is forgotten about or uncared for in the presence of God (by God on the earth). But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not be struck with fear or alarm you are of more value than many sparrows.”
That is a wonderful parable, He knows every hair on your head! I can say this boldly, He has had my back many times and I have never failed with Him. You cannot fail with Him. Anyone who takes you on is taking on a Kings kid. His child. So to know that He knows every hair on your head is amazing, that’s every little follicle! God is precise, He knows every thing about us, inside and out. He loves us dearly no matter what as we have seen in previous blogs.
Yet people still reject His love. They must be MAD!
Se we have seen that God holds his anger for a brief moment but holds love and mercy forever. That’s His Agape LOVE. God’s love for you is very deep, deeper than you could ever know, until you are in His presence in Heaven. This is where He wants all people to be but people make that choice themselves. The truth is given and they either except or reject it.
Ecclesiastes 7:9 “ Do not be quick in spirit to be angry or vexed, for anger and vexation lodge in the bosom of fools”
James 1:19 “ Understand this my beloved brethren. Let everyman be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to take offence and to get angry; for mans anger does not promote the righteousness God requires”
Mathew 5:22 “ I say unto you, that everyone who continues to be angry with his brother (fellow person) shall be unable to escape the punishment imposed by the court”
1 Corinthians 13:5
“Love is not angry” when someone hurts you, Give it to your maker your Father, He will deal with it for you. Its not up to you to sort it out. Jesus did all the work for us, we just have to trust in Him and His love and watch Him turn the situation right around for the better.
And this is a great confession:
Philippians 4:7-8 “ The peace of God which passes all understanding
(its supernatural) keeps my heart and mind through Christ Jesus. And the things that are good and pure and lovely and of good report I think on these”
Be blessed this coming week, God loves you, Jesus Loves you,
Give that person you dislike a smile, Don’t retaliate in anger or rage. Let go of any anger you have held for someone who has done terrible things, Anger wont change the situation other than harm you, yours and possibly them too. Let go of the poison holding you back. Jesus said in Matthew 5:38-47 that in the Old Testament in Exodus 21:24 it is said
“ an eye for and eye, a tooth for a tooth. But I say to you do not resist the evil man but if anyone strikes you on the right jaw or cheek turn to him the other one too. And if anyone wants to sue you and take your undershirt let him have your tunic too. And if anyone forces you to go one mile go two miles! Give to him who keeps on begging from you and do not turn away from him who would borrow from you. You have heard that it is said you shall love your neighbour and hate your enemy But I tell you to LOVE your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. To show your Father that you are children of your Father who is in heaven. For He makes the sun rise on the wicked and on the good and makes he rainfall upon the upright and the wrongdoers alike.
For if we love those who love you what reward can you have? Do not even the tax collectors do that? And if you greet only your brethren Your People) what more than others are you doing? Don’t even the gentles do that?
It seems almost impossible in your own strength, and Jesus was using these types of scenarios only as examples, But we do not need to do anything in our strength if you have accepted Christ. Gods free gift of love is enough to see you through anything VICTORIOUSLY! Why Because His spirit Lives in You!That is the heritage of the saints Gods Holy people in the light.
Love is most powerful force in the history of mankind yet people reject it and prefer hatred, envy bitterness and the like, if you do, its obvious unless you change where you belong for eternity, don’t do that, God wants all men/women to come to Christ. Love is the most powerful force and we fail to use it. It’s a gift take it with open arms! Its like someone offering you a million pounds and you saying NO thanks! Wonder how many would actually do that?
Be like the best and give LOVE like no other to those who need it. Your rewards are piling up in heaven. Give love without sharing it with the whole world to see.... many show their works for all to see some are valid... and have a testimony but alot of sowing must be done in secret your reward is in heaven then Not built in PRIDE for all to see how great your ministry is.. or you are.
God requires us to be Holy in this life, this is who He is and He has given you the necessary equipment to be like him again! Just as man was in the very beginning. Made in His image, His likeness as we have seen. Receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior, This is the only way to salvation, No matter how good your are, you cannot get to heaven unless you speak those words out of your mouth, I learnt this. Salvation is “not by works lest any man shall boast” as it says in Ephesian 2:9 .
Start your true journey with Him and make your goodness into Holiness. This is the best gift you will ever been given. God has given us many gifts. What have you given him in return for his love? He gave everything.
All scripture is either taken from NKJ version or Amplified Bible. Decent and readable bibles are King James Bible, NKJ -(New King James), NIV- ( New International Version) or Amplified. Start with the New testament read this first as this is where we now are. the age we are in.. We know already that is is the Age of Grace ( unmerited Favor!) see previous blog.
Are you ready for the truth?

“Jesus Christ, I pray in line with Romans 10:9 I believe that you are raised from the dead, thank you for dying on the cross for me and saving me from my sins, Forgive me. I believe you are my Lord and savior. Come into my heart, Cleanse me and guide me into all truth, Help me and Change me to who am I supposed to be for your Glory Father, Help me be a blessing to many In Jesus Christ Holy Name Amen”
If you have said this prayer for the first time you are now resurrected/ re born. You are NEW. we will go more into this over the next few weeks. Get yourself a new testament and read bit by bit. You may feel different, you may not. It doesn’t matter, you must feed your new baby spirit that has been awakened the more you feed, the more you will grow and quickly. Get to a good church (not one that is dull and boring one that is alive) with the spirit of GOD.. That preaches the truth, Gods word only. And start praying to Your Heavenly Father, be bold with Him, Don’t be shy, He has been waiting to hear from you. Talk to him as you would your own father. Rely on Him for all things and watch how things have dramatically turned around for the great! I trust you have had a wonderful week in The Name of Jesus Christ. I have! Its been an exciting time. Loves Living Word Ministries UK is helping people overcome certain issues. I have pointed them to Jesus Christ and Gods word.
I am pleased to say there is progress. Quick progress. Next week I have an appointment with a lady who The Holy Ghost has appointed for me to see. This lady has had a lot of problems ranging from a house fire and loosing all, to occult activities. Loves Living Word Ministries will show her that all Occult is of the devil as stated in the bible and after having extensive experience in this field myself I can share my testimony. A note for this week. Stay away from any movies that contains dark stuff in. For instance the New move “insidious”
I was saddened to see that this movie is advertised as well as others in the past with a picture and displayed on telephone booths for little kids to see. This is how bad the times are getting. It is not exceptable. Anyone who watches anything like this is opening themselves up to demonic stuff. I can speak from experience! The bible is very clear on this.
In Psalm 4:23 its says “ guard your heart ( your spirit ) with all vigilance (alertness /watchfulness) and above all that you guard, for out of it flows the springs of life.” ( what you watch, listen too, is so important) you are what you are around is what your life will be. You must feed on good things this nurtures and makes you spirit grow. Feeding on evil like that movie (about demons) will damage you and open you up for demonic attack.) God wouldn’t tell you this otherwise! Everything He says to you is for your benefit not His. He loves you and doesn’t want you to go through more than you already have done.
Oh that’s a load of rubbish. I don’t believe it. You better believe it. Because that is exactly what is happening and it happened to me! Do a small search on the New world Order and illuminati and you will see that the governments around the world and people in power are worshipping Guess who? The devil. Certain music stars also. Then when you have done a small search not concentrating to much on it just enough for you see what is happening around you, you will have then seen the truth on this. You should seek the Ultimate truth in Gods word concentrate on this, this is your strength you will see in the New Testament as we have already seen “how Jesus went about doing good and healing all who was oppressed of the devil for God was with Him” Acts 10:38 . You really can be free from torment, bad things happening to you and your family, generational illnesses, curses, addictions. Jesus is the Answer. And we will have a look at “Love is not easily angered.
Well isn’t this a difficult one! Not easily angered. How do you stay calm for example when someone is hurting your child? I can say from experience that it is very difficult to do in your own strength. Or if you are being wrongly accused and treated badly. Again I can say from experience that this one was a lot easier. In fact I was blessed to know that if stayed humble then the truth always comes out and guess what? It did and still is now. Time is a great ally if you have patience. I was blessed with Gods patience, one of the fruits of the spirit as said in Galatians 5:22 . You gain The Lords strength once you are born again, We have already seen how to become born again in previous blogs please look again.
When someone is angry, what is the worst thing you can do to fuel that anger? Is to get angry back? Anger and rage are not Gods nature and is the devils and now mans. It is through emotions triggered by a persons circumstance or what ever that anger is caused. Emotions stem from the soul realm of a person. God wants you to get past your soul realm (power to feel-emotions, Power to choose-will and power to know-intellect) and walk in the spirit realm. A higher calling! We have already seen that we are a three part being as God is one with three separate persons. Please see previous blog for this. John 14:10
Lets see a definition of what emotions actually are as stated in Wikipedia.
Emotions:
1. A natural instinctive state of mind deriving from one's circumstances, mood, or relationships with others.
2. Any of the particular feelings that characterize such a state of mind, such as joy, anger, love, hate, horror, etc
The love that is expressed in number 2 talks about the feeling type of love, not Gods agape love. We have already seen the different types of love in previous blogs.
You have the ability to walk in your higher calling, the spirit once you are born again. This is the only way to salvation as scripture says. Gods spirit really does come and live in you to enable you guide you help you. Millions of people are now awakened/resurrected and many more will. Don’t miss out through fear, ignorance or pride Your eternal salvation depends upon this.
I pray in the name of Jesus Christ to have your spiritual eyes opened, To be given a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the deep and intimate knowledge of our heavenly Father God, By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light so you know the hope to which you are called and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints ( set apart ones). In Jesus Christ Holy Name amen.
Ephesians 1:17 -23
This is a great prayer to pray. The Holy Spirit through Apostle Paul of Tarsus wrote this while he was imprisoned for spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
This prayer is so powerful, I guarantee If you pray this Prayer in Faith for a few months Your eyes will be opened. Dare you see the Truth?
What is the opposite of anger? Peace and calm!
We have already seen in a previous blog what Jesus said to his disciples as He was preparing them for His parting ( the Cross and ascension to Heaven):
Lets share it from the amplified bible, ( a bible that goes into more depth and expands more)
John 14:27
“Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]
”
God gave us another helper when Jesus Christ left the world to endure all the suffering He bore on our behalf and sprinkled Jesus His blood on the mercy seat as a propitiation of our sins.
What does propitiation mean?
1. Taking punishment on behalf of another; as in Jesus receiving the penalty for our sins, so that we can avoid a terrible punishment that we deserve. (this is through the fall as we have seen in Genesis 3 Mans seperation from God . (Through mans choice to rebel against God) (the devil/ satan deceived Eve, but Adam made the deliberate choice in Genesis 3).We have learnt in a previous blog that the bible is infallible proof. ( incapable of error, not liable to deceive, mislead or disappoint)
It is the only truth. I shared a little on prophecies 1000’s of which have been given throughout the years and most have come true and in fact 300 Jesus Christ fulfilled himself. Don’t Just take my word for it. Study for yourself. What a wonderful study! Check out for yourself the prophecies ( foretelling of future events) that have come true. It will open you eyes further and give you infallible proof that The bible is the ultimate truth. Anyone who doesn’t believe and does this study can not doubt the accuracy of the bible and the fact that nothing ever has come close to this.
2. Removing/covering the thing that caused the offence in the first place. Hebrews 10:17 “ I will remember their sins and their lawless deeds no more.”
So we see that Jesus Christ because of Gods love for you, did all this to bring us back to God, But the point I am sharing is that When Jesus said to His disciples in :
John 14:27
“Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled."
The peace Jesus was talking about was not of a human kind, It was a supernatural kind. A God kind! It is more than calmness, it’s the ability to not give in to your senses and fight back.
We have already shared in a previous blog that Jesus told His disciples that when He leaves God would send another In Jesus Name. (This was referring to The Holy Spirit or Ghost)
Lets us see in John 14:26 in the previous verse what Jesus said:
“But the Comforter (Counsellor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you.”
Have a read of Johns Gospel in the New Testament, It is the most beautiful of all Gospels and you will see exactly what Jesus told His disciples. People are missing out on the best jewels of wisdom and knowledge by either not knowing or being ignorant to it. Don’t miss out on these wonderful jewels,
Back in the dark ages the bible was chained to the pulpit and the common person unable to see it. Do some history research and see. The book is not a fable it is real and supernatural. It will change your life for the very best of the best. What by reading the bible? YES! Its alive remember as in Hebrews 4:12 as we have already seen. Its not an ordinary book, that you get off the shelf. It is an account of what God has shared for US through people who were set apart for that very purpose. Its supernatural! The ultimate of Supernatural. The real truth about the supernatural! The world has been under great deception.
Learn how to interpret the bible. God will show you how if you have faith and believe.
We see in John 14 that Jesus said that He gives any born again believer His peace How? By the Holy Spirit/Ghost coming to live inside your spirit.
This is in place of Jesus Christ and only through Jesus Christ. The Holy spirit was sent to act on behalf of Jesus, representing Jesus. When you receive this gift of love You are re born, your spirit which was dormant to God is now awakened/ resurrected unto Him) if you except Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior.
You are no longer separated from Him and you are alive unto righteousness. We have looked at this in my previous blogs.
Romans 10:9-11
“Because if You acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus Christ is Lord and in you heart believe that He was raised from the dead you will be saved,
For the heart of a person believes and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God) and with the mouth He confesses ( declares openly and speaks out in faith) and confirms His salvation. The scripture says no man who believes in Him will ever be put to shame or disappointed.”
What does this have to do with Love? Everything! This is Gods love for you as we have already shared. Jesus paid the ultimate penalty once and for all for you so you could have a relationship with your Father who is in Heaven.
But God went further than eternal salvation ( where you will go when you pass on) God your Father, gave you gifts to use here on this earth enabling you to be free from the likes of bitterness, envy, jealousy, as we have seen in previous blogs.
So we now see that it is more than possible not to get angry and it is not by our own effort but by Gods abilities working in and through us when you except Christ in to your life. You except Gods free gifts of love one being the Holy Spirit who is representing Jesus Christ acting on His behalf.
Anger can make you sick, it can turn your hair grey before your time. It will make you old and grey before your time. It robs you of what you were supposed to have. Have you seen a person who is always constantly an angry person by nature? Their stature and face says it all. Anger is another poison to steer clear of and can be held onto for years and years. God does not want you to hold onto anger or react in rage as this is damaging you and your life and the life of others. It will hold you back and kill you before your time!
We have seen that envy, bitterness, self seeking or prideful are not Love in:
1 Corinthinans 13:4-5, and so anger is not from love. The good things is you really don’t have to strive and struggle in this area. God has done it all for you by giving you one of the greatest of gifts The Holy Ghost. Your Father either gave you the this gift if you are saved or is offering this gift to you if you are not now today; to enable you to experience things beyond your wildest imaginations. To maximise your life and those around you to their full potential and beyond. But also to protect you from the adversary we have already discussed in previous blogs the devil ( fallen Angel). Anger is a huge door for satan to keep a foot hold in your life.
Ephesians 4:26 “ When angry do not sin, do not ever let your wrath last until the sun goes down. Leave no such room or foothold for the devil.”
A foothold in military talk is:
“The capture of a small area of enemy territory, which can be used as a base for mounting or supporting further attacks”
This is exactly what is happening every time you hold onto anger, you stay angry, you breed anger, or you become angry. God doesn’t just say things like “love is not angry” for nothing or it is not for His benefit as we have seen in previous blogs. This clearly shows that it is for your benefit not his. He does not want you to have the enemy ( the devil ) who is real, whether you believe it or not gain a foot hold in your life. Because once He has, He isn’t going away unless you have Gods knowledge and wisdom, the foothold becomes bigger and bigger. God wants you to know that anger will give the enemy (satan) room in your life. To do what? “To Kill To steal and destroy” John 10:10 as we have already seen ( see previous blogs ).
In the New international version of the bible NIV we see in 1 Peter 5:8 that it says:
“Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.”
Other versions say “ Be sober and alert ”.
Do you think being self controlled is not being angry? I do. Lets see why it says not to be like that? We see that “the enemy prowls like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour”.
By the way, He is only like this to people who are not under Gods protection through Christ Jesus. Even if things seem to be going ok, and you have had a decent life, no drama and a good one. And you think well nothing has come up against me. Things in this life are temporal (subject to change). We know this by people walking out of there home and getting knocked down and killed. We know this by a sudden illness that hit’s the family and devastates. And the list could go on. All things bad come from satan, illness, accidents, family break ups, its all part of the fall/Curse. Its not a safe place to be if you think “I am ok nothing could ever happen to me“. In fact that is Pride one of the devils prime weapons against mankind!
“Be sober and alert“ as the other translation says in 1 Peter 5:8 . Being sober and alert is not being in pride and thinking nothing will ever happen to me or mine.
You are certainly not to be tormented and fearful all the time about what is to come or to happen to you or yours either; this is the exact opposite of being sober and alert. You are to have full confidence in what Christ did for you and for all people and to Know that you are now saved from this.. You are to know that you have been given many beautiful wonderful Gifts (which are true treasures) not like the kind you find on your finger or in the bank! See Mathew 6:19
Jesus clearly says in His word that we are no to worry or be anxious, and as we were looking at:
John 14:27
“Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled."
He says we are not to be afraid or have our hearts troubled. Your heart is clearly troubled if you are agitated and disturbed. Would you say anger covers agitated and disturbed? I would. Gods peace covers every form of anything that can come up against you in your life. Be it a person/s or circumstance. His peace is more than enough. You do not have to submit to anger and I can talk from experience and yes I am still learning in this area as every person is... I can say God’s ability in me is enough and He has defused times when I have wanted to lash back out in anger at a person for their wrong doing or at a situation I was faced with. Anger comes in many forms from pettiness to full on rage and attacks. It could be when you are driving in the car and someone pulls out in front of you and you scream at them. That was aggressive, or someone stole your place in the queue at the post office or wherever. I have had many an argument with people in the past ( before I was saved ) over a 1 metre of space in a queue. I will have argued because they pushed in and they were in the wrong mind it was a “I was here first before you scenario“.! But looking back I can see how petty it was and how that shaped the rest of my day! It bred poison into my world. Anger is dangerous and breeds arguments, fights, conflicts, rifts, break ups, loss of relationships. Anger is the devils way, peace is Gods. You can chose Gods, You can chose to override your own feelings and walk in Gods spirit and boy is it powerful. The Holy spirit is your teacher and He helps you over come anger. You have to let it go, don’t hold on to it. How would you feel if I told you that peace defuses anger. That it obliterates it? It’s the truth it does. Why? Its part of Love, Love obliterates evil full stop. That is where you get statements like “takes a better man to walk away” ( from conflict) . This is why it so important to walk in Love especially in these last days not just for yourself. But for others too. God sees past you to everyone else as well. We are all equal to Him. He loves us all the same. Non more than another as we have already seen in a previous blog.
God sees the intentions and purposes of the heart as it says in Hebrews 4:12. That’s all hearts, everyone’s. So He knows when you have missed it and you didn’t mean it. You were just having a bad day and pressure has been mounting. He knows everyone’s heart and their intentions whether it was actually meant or not. he knows whether you weher set up Pushed trapped by the devil... Pressed in on every side... he knows......There is no escaping this. So as you try to do as Gods word says and you miss it and lash out; Do not condemn yourself. Its says “therefore there is no condemnation to those that are in Christ Jesus” in
Romans 8:1. That means NONE. You are to use His precious Gift of forgiveness which is next weeks message! “Love keeps no record of wrong”
Guilt and shame and in this case, over anger is another tool the devil uses in keeping you away from God and His people. Now you know there is “no condemnation in Christ” Remember it.
Psalm 103:8 “ The lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and plenteous in mercy and loving Kindness”
Psalm 30:5 “His ( the Lords) Anger is but for a moment, But His favor is for a lifetime.”
As I have shared and will continue to share. Keep a short account with Father Give him your feelings....every liottle thing that tries to creep up! anyting anyone does to you Injustice heartache. Sorrow suffereing and yes bleoved one you will go through those if you are a TRUE believer in Christ walking in his ways. You will be persecuted even by the church! sadly to say. Remeber there are & end time churches ONLY " operate with GODS CHARACTER and SPIRITS
There are people who have literally beaten up women to and inch of their life and been forgiven loved on and cared for so why cant you be? Never let anyone hold anything against you. LOVE KEEPS NO RECORD OF WRONG!
Anyone doing so is not oeprating in the Spirit of GOD
We have already seen How much your heavenly Father loves you in the previous messages on Love so far.
Lets take a look at how He sees you once you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and savior.
You are in right standing with Him, great confession! I have been made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. See 2 Corithinans 5:18 You are no longer separated by sin and you are righteous in Gods sight. Just like the thief who was on the cross next to Jesus before He left the earth. Jesus said to Him “This day You will be with me in paradise” Why? Because The thief recognised He was the son of God and Said so. See Gospels New Testament.
Biblical Righteousness means Justified, Restored, forgiven, Son/daughter ship.
There are so many scriptures throughout the bible on righteousness and being righteous so it is very important! You are in right standing with God no matter what you have done in the past, it is forgiven and not even remembered, Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. If Gods word says it and you have asked Jesus into your heart through faith asking for forgiveness then that settled that issue up. Gods word is the truth. No condemnation to those in Christ.
You are redeemed from the curse of the law as it says in Galatians 3:13
“ Christ purchased our freedom (redeeming us) from the curse (doom) of the law (and its condemnation) by Himself becoming a curse for us
(not just bearing all our sin but becoming sin) as it is written in the scriptures, Cursed is everyone who hangs on the tree (this was prophecy back in Leviticus Old Testament)
God sees you as his child:
We see in The old Testament the Lord Spoke the Prophet Jeremiah
In Jeremiah 1:5 He said to Jeremiah “before I formed you in the womb in knew you ” That goes for all of us, God can do that He is past present and future all in one. He is Omnipresent.
So before you are even created by your mum and dad before you were formed. God Knew you!
In Mathew 7:7-12 Jesus is talking to His disciples and He is sharing of the wonders of God His father and yours. He shares that in verse 7-12
“Ask, and it shall be given unto you; seek and you shall find; knock and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man is among you who, if his son or daughter asks for bread will you give him a stone? Or if He asks for fish, will he give him a serpent? If then you, Beng evil ( through the fall Genesis 3) know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!“
You are precious to your own parents (unless you were abandoned or rejected, you will have suffered pain but you have been very blessed, as you have only had Father God and His angels to be there for you and He is the very best of the all parents!) If only people knew how special they really are to him and remove the lie that has been forced upon them all their lives that God is full of wrath. God even knows the number of hairs on your head! Jesus teaches of God and how important people are to him, but also the fear of Him, He is the almighty Lord, He is behind you in all things (got your back) Big Time! So Jesus shares this with his disciples and followers and says in Luke 12:6-7 “ Are not five sparrows ( birds) sold for two pennies? And yet not one of them is forgotten about or uncared for in the presence of God (by God on the earth). But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not be struck with fear or alarm you are of more value than many sparrows.”
That is a wonderful parable, He knows every hair on your head! I can say this boldly, He has had my back many times and I have never failed with Him. You cannot fail with Him. Anyone who takes you on is taking on a Kings kid. His child. So to know that He knows every hair on your head is amazing, that’s every little follicle! God is precise, He knows every thing about us, inside and out. He loves us dearly no matter what as we have seen in previous blogs.
Yet people still reject His love. They must be MAD!
Se we have seen that God holds his anger for a brief moment but holds love and mercy forever. That’s His Agape LOVE. God’s love for you is very deep, deeper than you could ever know, until you are in His presence in Heaven. This is where He wants all people to be but people make that choice themselves. The truth is given and they either except or reject it.
Ecclesiastes 7:9 “ Do not be quick in spirit to be angry or vexed, for anger and vexation lodge in the bosom of fools”
James 1:19 “ Understand this my beloved brethren. Let everyman be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to take offence and to get angry; for mans anger does not promote the righteousness God requires”
Mathew 5:22 “ I say unto you, that everyone who continues to be angry with his brother (fellow person) shall be unable to escape the punishment imposed by the court”
1 Corinthians 13:5
“Love is not angry” when someone hurts you, Give it to your maker your Father, He will deal with it for you. Its not up to you to sort it out. Jesus did all the work for us, we just have to trust in Him and His love and watch Him turn the situation right around for the better.
And this is a great confession:
Philippians 4:7-8 “ The peace of God which passes all understanding
(its supernatural) keeps my heart and mind through Christ Jesus. And the things that are good and pure and lovely and of good report I think on these”
Be blessed this coming week, God loves you, Jesus Loves you,
Give that person you dislike a smile, Don’t retaliate in anger or rage. Let go of any anger you have held for someone who has done terrible things, Anger wont change the situation other than harm you, yours and possibly them too. Let go of the poison holding you back. Jesus said in Matthew 5:38-47 that in the Old Testament in Exodus 21:24 it is said
“ an eye for and eye, a tooth for a tooth. But I say to you do not resist the evil man but if anyone strikes you on the right jaw or cheek turn to him the other one too. And if anyone wants to sue you and take your undershirt let him have your tunic too. And if anyone forces you to go one mile go two miles! Give to him who keeps on begging from you and do not turn away from him who would borrow from you. You have heard that it is said you shall love your neighbour and hate your enemy But I tell you to LOVE your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. To show your Father that you are children of your Father who is in heaven. For He makes the sun rise on the wicked and on the good and makes he rainfall upon the upright and the wrongdoers alike.
For if we love those who love you what reward can you have? Do not even the tax collectors do that? And if you greet only your brethren Your People) what more than others are you doing? Don’t even the gentles do that?
It seems almost impossible in your own strength, and Jesus was using these types of scenarios only as examples, But we do not need to do anything in our strength if you have accepted Christ. Gods free gift of love is enough to see you through anything VICTORIOUSLY! Why Because His spirit Lives in You!That is the heritage of the saints Gods Holy people in the light.
Love is most powerful force in the history of mankind yet people reject it and prefer hatred, envy bitterness and the like, if you do, its obvious unless you change where you belong for eternity, don’t do that, God wants all men/women to come to Christ. Love is the most powerful force and we fail to use it. It’s a gift take it with open arms! Its like someone offering you a million pounds and you saying NO thanks! Wonder how many would actually do that?
Be like the best and give LOVE like no other to those who need it. Your rewards are piling up in heaven. Give love without sharing it with the whole world to see.... many show their works for all to see some are valid... and have a testimony but alot of sowing must be done in secret your reward is in heaven then Not built in PRIDE for all to see how great your ministry is.. or you are.
God requires us to be Holy in this life, this is who He is and He has given you the necessary equipment to be like him again! Just as man was in the very beginning. Made in His image, His likeness as we have seen. Receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior, This is the only way to salvation, No matter how good your are, you cannot get to heaven unless you speak those words out of your mouth, I learnt this. Salvation is “not by works lest any man shall boast” as it says in Ephesian 2:9 .
Start your true journey with Him and make your goodness into Holiness. This is the best gift you will ever been given. God has given us many gifts. What have you given him in return for his love? He gave everything.
All scripture is either taken from NKJ version or Amplified Bible. Decent and readable bibles are King James Bible, NKJ -(New King James), NIV- ( New International Version) or Amplified. Start with the New testament read this first as this is where we now are. the age we are in.. We know already that is is the Age of Grace ( unmerited Favor!) see previous blog.
Are you ready for the truth?

“Jesus Christ, I pray in line with Romans 10:9 I believe that you are raised from the dead, thank you for dying on the cross for me and saving me from my sins, Forgive me. I believe you are my Lord and savior. Come into my heart, Cleanse me and guide me into all truth, Help me and Change me to who am I supposed to be for your Glory Father, Help me be a blessing to many In Jesus Christ Holy Name Amen”
If you have said this prayer for the first time you are now resurrected/ re born. You are NEW. we will go more into this over the next few weeks. Get yourself a new testament and read bit by bit. You may feel different, you may not. It doesn’t matter, you must feed your new baby spirit that has been awakened the more you feed, the more you will grow and quickly. Get to a good church (not one that is dull and boring one that is alive) with the spirit of GOD.. That preaches the truth, Gods word only. And start praying to Your Heavenly Father, be bold with Him, Don’t be shy, He has been waiting to hear from you. Talk to him as you would your own father. Rely on Him for all things and watch how things have dramatically turned around for the great! 06/05/2011 Recieve the Gift of Love Contnued 1 Corinthians 13:5
God Bless you this wonderful week. I trust you have had a good week and things are well.
We have been a study on 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails."
This is an in depth scripture so breaking it down bit by bit is necessary. Today We will look at “Love is Not self seeking” and lets just re cap a little first.
Love, we know it is the most powerful force I showed you last week. We know that not a lot of people are operating in love in their walk on earth and this world is crying out for that. We know God actually is LOVE and Jesus said Love is the KEY and we are to walk in love to others even if they are not with you. We have studied a little on "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude,
We know walking in love is hard to do at times as your initial reaction is to do what other people or circumstances are doing to you. We learnt that people do not know the power of LOVE itself. In fact we have learnt that people are breeding the nature and character of the devil ( the fallen angel) in our world rather than love itself! I would like to show you more about what the bible says regarding love and peoples experiencing.
I can say this very boldly as I have walked in love many times against adversaries (people who oppose you/ the enemy) and I did not find it hard most of the time. It may have been hurtful and confusing instead. However there has been occasion when I have wanted to give back what the person or situation has been giving to me or mine. This is a natural instinct you would think? No. That is a lie!
One of the most important scriptures you will ever read is a bit further down we shall see in a moment.
This scripture shows you Gods intention for us and who we actually are. It shows you where you came from. Forget theories of evolution, not one has been scientifically proven as fact. In fact all they are, are THEORIES. A theory is an idea only! People don’t know this and instead go along with what the scientists idea is. Do some research, I can confidently say that you wont be disappointed in fact you will be illuminated to the truth. Well the bible is a book that is written by people?
These people where inspired by the Holy Ghost ( one of the trinity of God ) as I showed you previously God the Father, God the son and God the Holy Ghost. The bible is ALIVE, It is Powerful, It is sharper than the sharpest two edged sword as I have shared previously in Hebrews 4:12.
Do I agree with this just because the scripture says it? No. I would be a stupid not to test it out. I have tested it out over my life and circumstances for 6 years. And guess what? It is the ultimate truth. The only full truth. But not just me, Billions of people throughout time have found the truth out through the bible. I have shared in previous blogs regards the bible and prophecy ( foretelling of future events). We saw that no other source comes even remotely any where near the bible and what its has foretold. See my other blog. Including prophecy over the earthquakes and disasters that are happening right now in the world! And not to forget to mention the Middle East and all that has been going on for a long time. Its constantly in the news. If people would just read the bible its would shows you why this is happening. It would confirm what has already happened and what is still yet to come. The devil has not wanted to you find this out because he knows the power of truth and the bible. The devil has wanted to keep you blind to the truth for no other reason than “to steal, to kill and destroy” your life in John 10:10. The next part of the scripture says Jesus said “But I have come that you might have life and have it in all its fullness” as I have shared in a previous blog. I have already shared that Jesus said in John 8:32 “And you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free”
The bible which is Gods word, His spoken word through people who have had a relationship with him and worked for him is FACT. It has been proven so over and over again. Do some research for yourself. Don’t just take my word for it. You will not be sorry that you did. You will have gained precious revelation from your maker God who wanted you to know.
If you read Genesis the beginning of the bible in the old testament you will see the God created the heavens and the earth, the moon, stars, sun. I shared this in a previous blog. He God, made everything including us. The great things about Us ( mankind ) is God made us special. We are blessed, we were made in his image and since we all come from God; This is the one of the most important scriptures you will ever read.
Genesis 1:26 “ Then God said ( to the Holy Spirit), Lets us make man in our image, according to our likeness let them have dominion over the fish of the sea over the birds of the air and over the cattle of the field, over ALL the earth and over every creeping things that creeps on the earth., So God created man in his own image: In the image of God he created him; male and female He created them. Then God BLESSED them and said “ Be fruitful and Multiply” fill the earth and subdue it.”
This shows we were made just like him and who is He? He is LOVE. I have shared this is previous blog and given you many scriptures to show you that God is love; He doesn’t just feel love, He actually is LOVE.
So if God is Love and we are made in the image of Him then we are meant to be LOVE. How can we be love when all this is going on the world. If you would read Genesis 3 as already shared you would find out why the world is the way it is and why people do the most terrible things to others including children. It will give you the answer as to why billions are sick and starving. The world was cursed. Read it and see. It shares God sent Jesus Christ back part of the trinity (God head) to save us from this and anyone who excepts him will be saved. I have shared many scriptures on this in previous blogs too. Please read them, It could really change your life. For the true one you were destined to have by God. The scripture Genesis 1:26 is a message in itself. We are Blessed!
We have seen that Love is actually more than a feeling and that Gods Love is Agape (unconditional love) Steadfast, immovable, never ending. The world does not operate enough in this type of love instead operates in Eros ( man and women attraction) and Phillio (brotherly love). Both these types of love are where you get something back in return. God wants nothing back but for you to experience the very best both here now and while you are living on earth but most importantly; God wants your spirit to go to Him in Heaven. When your spirit leaves your body when you physically die you either go to Heaven or Hell. We saw that the only way to heaven and be with God was through Jesus Christ. See previous blogs where scripture support is please.
You really can walk in love since you are made in Gods image who is love.
It’s a choice. Once you are REBORN Made NEW You have Him, God inside you, He breathed His breath in you see Genesis 2 . But as this was sepetarted through the Fall on ly through JESUS CHRIST was this restored,. being recociled to the FatherThis made you a spirit being which is eternal as we have seen.
We saw that your spirit (Gods Breath) is dormant/separated until you are resurrected/awakened by Christ (see Easter message) and what happened in the garden of Eden with the devil, Adam and Eve in Genesis 3.
Since God is love and we are made in his image and likeness- Likeness is His attributes, His nature, His character.
We too can walk in love but through deception and the way people operate because of the curse this has been subdued tremendously. I am here to tell you that in fact it does not have to be that way. We can walk in love and spread Gods love nature, character, attribute back into the world as we were designed to have done in the first place. There are many good lovely people out there. I am blessed to have many as my friends and true family now.
But we all know too well that there are many bad, nasty, evil people out there too. And unfortunately it’s a choice. A choice only you can make. No matter how much deception has been upon you. God always get the truth out there its up to the person to either accept it or reject it. Its all about choice as my previous blog ended on. That’s the beauty and wonder of God, your father, the maker of the universe, the ancient of days. He would never force you to do anything you didn’t want to do including walking in love and experiencing its power. it’s a choice. Yours alone. Make the right one!
So lets look at the next part of 1 Corinthians 13:5 “Love is not self seeking”.
Self Seeking- I automatically think of selfish. Actually it is self love. Don’t get me wrong to love yourself in the right way a healthy way; it is what is needed in order for you to maintain a good life and not be treated badly. But to love yourself in the self seeking way God talks about in 1 Corinthians 13:5 is damaging. You will find that it is blocking God working in your life and could be potentially damaging others too. Don’t do that! I have had many, I am sure, say behind my back she loves herself! They have done this by the way I look or what ever other reason. This could not be further from the truth.
You may have been the recipient of this yourself, or you could well be the one who is doing the talking behind another persons back regarding thinking they think they are better than you. Its not about what you or they look like, what you or they have done, who your or there family is, where you or they work, what you or they do for others even. Its about getting past yourself. Way past yourself to consideration for others. Thoughtfulness beyond yourself.
There are so many people out there who have been less fortunate than others for example. And if you have been reading my blogs you will now know that most of the issues they are facing are not their fault. Its caused by the curse. Even if it was their fault they need help, and a little bit of love goes along long way as we have already seen. Well that’s not my problem? No it is not, but do you think adding to the problem they have by ignoring them and their issue for example will help them? No. It probably make matter worse. Why do that to another when you have the choice.
I can say this boldly, because being a minister is a servant and that requires you getting past yourself and being there for others. I would not be able to represent God unless I was living what I preached. And live it I do, in LOVE.
This does not mean to say I am perfect, It does not mean I think highly of myself in fact the opposite it has never been about me. Its about God, what He wants His people to know and about me living this out in daily life representing him.
So lets look at what self seeking means in the English dictionary.
1. Pursuing only one's own ends or interests.
2. Exhibiting concern only with promoting one's own ends or interests
Lets go a little deeper with self seeking:
Selfish - To be concerned with your own self and not interested or bothered about another. Do we have so many people like that around today? I wonder how many you have come into contact with this week? Have a think. Have you been like that this week? Selfishness is not a nice quality to have.
It is not interested in the thought of another persons life or situation and only interested in itself and what it can gain.
Self interested- Me me me me me me me me me! How many people know such a person? I have come across many people who are only interested in their life, their world, so what if others are going through stuff I don’t care. Its not my problem. Its all about me! If its isn’t I don’t want to know. Or im quite happy with my little world and family anyone else can forget it.
Mercenary- Someone who’s desire is for monetary gain. Don’t we know the world runs like this! Why cant people give without anything in return? I mean give your time, effort etc. Well why do preachers get paid? They have sole faith in God for their ministry including me. God does provide and as the bible shows its through People!
Calculating- shrewd, crafty! This list goes on when we try to explore self seeking. The lord does not want me to go in depth about this as people know full well what self seeking means. And I have no doubt that either you have been the recipient of someone else’s selfishness or you have been selfish yourself. Either way Jesus is the answer. He helps you sort that right out. I can also boldly say that God does not want you to experience that at all. He never intended you to experience that or be like that. We have seen this in Genesis 1:26
There were many men and women of the bible who got past selfishness to aid or help another. I am not saying this is what The Lord wants you to do either. But I am saying what God has said and that is “Love is not self seeking”
Take a look at 1 Kings 17 onwards also 2 Chronicles and Malachi for the story and mention of ELIJAH the prophet. He was a man set apart. He was God's man. God is looking to and fro on this earth for men and women who are totally sold out to Him. No personal agendas, no self-seeking plans, no alternate routes of escape.
But the Ultimate non self seeking person is JESUS CHRIST. He served mankind, He became a servant, comforter, healer, teacher, provider, friend and ultimate sacrifice.
He took the whole earths weight of sin upon himself. He did this while he was sinless although He was tempted like us all;but under a lot more severe circumstances. He experienced more physical, emotional, and spiritual pain than any other person ever has and He did it for you and for me. See my Easter message. He was completely selfless and lived and died to serve mankind not just in this life but for eternal life. That’s a person who isn’t just thinking of now or next week or next year for you and everyone else, this is eternity we are talking about. Forever and ever and ever.
This man beautiful Jesus Christ did all this; yet people can’t be bothered to give a smile to the guy sitting without any money on the street. It costs nothing to be kind, thoughtful, good, sincere, caring, loving. Those acts of love go along way for a person who has been through such terrible things. Its not there fault! Or for example: because of you own issues with yourself you cant bring yourself to smile to the person who sits on their own at church or at work or where ever. That person may well need that smile more than you could ever know, they may well have been through things you could never endure. Hardship beyond your wildest dreams but because you are so wrapt up with yourself, and you feel you are too important to smile and give a bit of love; love is not being spread as it should. This grieves me, and I can boldly say this grieves The Father too.
Those types of acts of love go a long way I mean a really long way. That’s the power of love and that’s why the devil is keeping people from doing something so easy and free as a smile. These types of things matter a lot to God, yet people just brush past it and make excuses. There is no excuse period. It costs nothing to smile, all you are doing is moving your mouth to a position? Yet many people are too special and self absorbed to even do that. This is self seeking. Self absorbed. Selfish.
The Apostle Paul told the church at Corinth that God has appointed certain people certain gifts some more than others; but even if you have gifts from God in the church, be it through healings, speaking in tongues or many of the others gifts Non is higher than guess what? LOVE. They will be of no use! LOVE is the most powerful Gift and Force. It’s a gift God gave you! His LOVE. Use it, Get to know how to use it, He will help you.
In the Amplified Bible 1 Corinthians 12:31 says “ But earnestly desire and zealously cultivate the greatest and best gifts and graces.
And yet I will show you a still more excellent way ( the one that is better by far and the highest of them all - Love)”
A more excellent way… More than gift like the working of miracles? Oh yes. LOVE.
Better by far and the highest of them all (gifts). Yes LOVE.
So even though we are to desire ( which is a strong attaining) and zealously ( diligently) cultivate ( prepare and use) the greatest and best gift and graces ( given by God) There is a more excellent (outstanding quality or superior merit) way. Love is THE WAY. Jesus is THE WAY. And was called this before the name Christianity came in.
Thankfully we have many preachers and teachers who do operate in love, but sadly there are many that are false teachers infiltrating the church also. This is another subject for another time. That’s why in a previous blog I shared its important to find a good church that preaches and teaches only the word of God and not their own idea. The bible is very clear on this and we will look at this when the time is right.
The opposite of self seeking is- self giving, self sacrificing.
Self seeking is taking you away from God where as the other two are bringing you closer to him and in doing so helping to world also.
Lets have a look at what God and his word says about self seeking, self giving and self sacrifice:
Proverbs 28:27 “He who gives to the poor will lack nothing, but he who closes his eyes to them receives many curses.”
Psalm 119:36 “Turn my heart toward your statutes and not toward selfish gain“.
James 3:13-18 “ Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that His works are done in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter envy and self seeking in your hearts. Do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above (heaven) but is earthly, sensual, demonic. For where envy and self seeking exist, confusion and every evil are there. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace”.
1 John 3:18-23 “ My little children, let us not love in word and tongue, but in deed and in truth. And by this we know that we are in truth and shall assure our hearts before him. For if our hearts condemns us, God is greater than our heart and knows all things. Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us we have confidence towards God.”
Lets see what Jesus said a few days before He was crucified to His disciples, He was preparing them for when he would no longer be with them in the earthly body. He was showing them of His return, which is close. The bible has proven over and over by prophecy given regards the signs before his coming. They have been happening for many years now and there is not long to go.
Luke 21:7-18
“So they asked Him saying “teacher, but when will theses things be? And what signs will there be when theses things are about to take place?” And He said “ Take heed that you are not deceived. For Many will come in my name saying I am He, and, The time has drawn near. Therefore do not go after them. BUT when you hear of wars and commotions, do not be terrified; for theses things must come to pass first, but the end will not come immediately Then He said to them. “ Nation will rise against nation. Kingdom against Kingdom. And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences ( disease) and there will be fearful sight and great signs from heaven.”
What has been happening in the world lately? Exactly that! Earthquakes, disease, war.
“But before all these things, they will lay hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons. You will be brought before kings and rulers for my names sake. But it will turn out for you as an occasion for testimony. Therefore settle it in your hearts not to meditate before hand on what you will answer; for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict and resist. You will be betrayed even by your parents and brothers, relatives and friends; and they will put some of you to death. And you will be hated for all my names sake. But not a hair of you head shall be lost, by your patience possess your souls” Amen!
This is what the disciples and people who devote their lives to serve mankind have had to go through. Jesus said it would happen and it does happen. These types of people are not self seeking, but instead are like Jesus Selfless. Not wanting anything in return other than for you to know the truth and live a good life in truth here now. But also their concern and love for you see’s well past this life looking towards the next. Your eternal life.
This is going to happen as scripture says
Anyone who does not believe it doesn’t alter the FACT its going to a happen.
Matthew 25:31-46
“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
Then the King will say to those on his right, "Come, you who are blessed of my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me."
Then the righteous will answer him, "Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you? The King will reply, "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."

We have been a study on 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails."
This is an in depth scripture so breaking it down bit by bit is necessary. Today We will look at “Love is Not self seeking” and lets just re cap a little first.
Love, we know it is the most powerful force I showed you last week. We know that not a lot of people are operating in love in their walk on earth and this world is crying out for that. We know God actually is LOVE and Jesus said Love is the KEY and we are to walk in love to others even if they are not with you. We have studied a little on "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude,
We know walking in love is hard to do at times as your initial reaction is to do what other people or circumstances are doing to you. We learnt that people do not know the power of LOVE itself. In fact we have learnt that people are breeding the nature and character of the devil ( the fallen angel) in our world rather than love itself! I would like to show you more about what the bible says regarding love and peoples experiencing.
I can say this very boldly as I have walked in love many times against adversaries (people who oppose you/ the enemy) and I did not find it hard most of the time. It may have been hurtful and confusing instead. However there has been occasion when I have wanted to give back what the person or situation has been giving to me or mine. This is a natural instinct you would think? No. That is a lie!
One of the most important scriptures you will ever read is a bit further down we shall see in a moment.
This scripture shows you Gods intention for us and who we actually are. It shows you where you came from. Forget theories of evolution, not one has been scientifically proven as fact. In fact all they are, are THEORIES. A theory is an idea only! People don’t know this and instead go along with what the scientists idea is. Do some research, I can confidently say that you wont be disappointed in fact you will be illuminated to the truth. Well the bible is a book that is written by people?
These people where inspired by the Holy Ghost ( one of the trinity of God ) as I showed you previously God the Father, God the son and God the Holy Ghost. The bible is ALIVE, It is Powerful, It is sharper than the sharpest two edged sword as I have shared previously in Hebrews 4:12.
Do I agree with this just because the scripture says it? No. I would be a stupid not to test it out. I have tested it out over my life and circumstances for 6 years. And guess what? It is the ultimate truth. The only full truth. But not just me, Billions of people throughout time have found the truth out through the bible. I have shared in previous blogs regards the bible and prophecy ( foretelling of future events). We saw that no other source comes even remotely any where near the bible and what its has foretold. See my other blog. Including prophecy over the earthquakes and disasters that are happening right now in the world! And not to forget to mention the Middle East and all that has been going on for a long time. Its constantly in the news. If people would just read the bible its would shows you why this is happening. It would confirm what has already happened and what is still yet to come. The devil has not wanted to you find this out because he knows the power of truth and the bible. The devil has wanted to keep you blind to the truth for no other reason than “to steal, to kill and destroy” your life in John 10:10. The next part of the scripture says Jesus said “But I have come that you might have life and have it in all its fullness” as I have shared in a previous blog. I have already shared that Jesus said in John 8:32 “And you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free”
The bible which is Gods word, His spoken word through people who have had a relationship with him and worked for him is FACT. It has been proven so over and over again. Do some research for yourself. Don’t just take my word for it. You will not be sorry that you did. You will have gained precious revelation from your maker God who wanted you to know.

There were many men and women of the bible who got past selfishness to aid or help another. I am not saying this is what The Lord wants you to do either. But I am saying what God has said and that is “Love is not self seeking”
Take a look at 1 Kings 17 onwards also 2 Chronicles and Malachi for the story and mention of ELIJAH the prophet. He was a man set apart. He was God's man. God is looking to and fro on this earth for men and women who are totally sold out to Him. No personal agendas, no self-seeking plans, no alternate routes of escape.
But the Ultimate non self seeking person is JESUS CHRIST. He served mankind, He became a servant, comforter, healer, teacher, provider, friend and ultimate sacrifice.
He took the whole earths weight of sin upon himself. He did this while he was sinless although He was tempted like us all;but under a lot more severe circumstances. He experienced more physical, emotional, and spiritual pain than any other person ever has and He did it for you and for me. See my Easter message. He was completely selfless and lived and died to serve mankind not just in this life but for eternal life. That’s a person who isn’t just thinking of now or next week or next year for you and everyone else, this is eternity we are talking about. Forever and ever and ever.
This man beautiful Jesus Christ did all this; yet people can’t be bothered to give a smile to the guy sitting without any money on the street. It costs nothing to be kind, thoughtful, good, sincere, caring, loving. Those acts of love go along way for a person who has been through such terrible things. Its not there fault! Or for example: because of you own issues with yourself you cant bring yourself to smile to the person who sits on their own at church or at work or where ever. That person may well need that smile more than you could ever know, they may well have been through things you could never endure. Hardship beyond your wildest dreams but because you are so wrapt up with yourself, and you feel you are too important to smile and give a bit of love; love is not being spread as it should. This grieves me, and I can boldly say this grieves The Father too.
Those types of acts of love go a long way I mean a really long way. That’s the power of love and that’s why the devil is keeping people from doing something so easy and free as a smile. These types of things matter a lot to God, yet people just brush past it and make excuses. There is no excuse period. It costs nothing to smile, all you are doing is moving your mouth to a position? Yet many people are too special and self absorbed to even do that. This is self seeking. Self absorbed. Selfish.
The Apostle Paul told the church at Corinth that God has appointed certain people certain gifts some more than others; but even if you have gifts from God in the church, be it through healings, speaking in tongues or many of the others gifts Non is higher than guess what? LOVE. They will be of no use! LOVE is the most powerful Gift and Force. It’s a gift God gave you! His LOVE. Use it, Get to know how to use it, He will help you.
In the Amplified Bible 1 Corinthians 12:31 says “ But earnestly desire and zealously cultivate the greatest and best gifts and graces.
And yet I will show you a still more excellent way ( the one that is better by far and the highest of them all - Love)”
A more excellent way… More than gift like the working of miracles? Oh yes. LOVE.
Better by far and the highest of them all (gifts). Yes LOVE.
So even though we are to desire ( which is a strong attaining) and zealously ( diligently) cultivate ( prepare and use) the greatest and best gift and graces ( given by God) There is a more excellent (outstanding quality or superior merit) way. Love is THE WAY. Jesus is THE WAY. And was called this before the name Christianity came in.
Thankfully we have many preachers and teachers who do operate in love, but sadly there are many that are false teachers infiltrating the church also. This is another subject for another time. That’s why in a previous blog I shared its important to find a good church that preaches and teaches only the word of God and not their own idea. The bible is very clear on this and we will look at this when the time is right.
The opposite of self seeking is- self giving, self sacrificing.
Self seeking is taking you away from God where as the other two are bringing you closer to him and in doing so helping to world also.
Lets have a look at what God and his word says about self seeking, self giving and self sacrifice:
Proverbs 28:27 “He who gives to the poor will lack nothing, but he who closes his eyes to them receives many curses.”
Psalm 119:36 “Turn my heart toward your statutes and not toward selfish gain“.
James 3:13-18 “ Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that His works are done in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter envy and self seeking in your hearts. Do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above (heaven) but is earthly, sensual, demonic. For where envy and self seeking exist, confusion and every evil are there. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace”.
1 John 3:18-23 “ My little children, let us not love in word and tongue, but in deed and in truth. And by this we know that we are in truth and shall assure our hearts before him. For if our hearts condemns us, God is greater than our heart and knows all things. Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us we have confidence towards God.”
Lets see what Jesus said a few days before He was crucified to His disciples, He was preparing them for when he would no longer be with them in the earthly body. He was showing them of His return, which is close. The bible has proven over and over by prophecy given regards the signs before his coming. They have been happening for many years now and there is not long to go.
Luke 21:7-18
“So they asked Him saying “teacher, but when will theses things be? And what signs will there be when theses things are about to take place?” And He said “ Take heed that you are not deceived. For Many will come in my name saying I am He, and, The time has drawn near. Therefore do not go after them. BUT when you hear of wars and commotions, do not be terrified; for theses things must come to pass first, but the end will not come immediately Then He said to them. “ Nation will rise against nation. Kingdom against Kingdom. And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences ( disease) and there will be fearful sight and great signs from heaven.”
What has been happening in the world lately? Exactly that! Earthquakes, disease, war.
“But before all these things, they will lay hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons. You will be brought before kings and rulers for my names sake. But it will turn out for you as an occasion for testimony. Therefore settle it in your hearts not to meditate before hand on what you will answer; for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict and resist. You will be betrayed even by your parents and brothers, relatives and friends; and they will put some of you to death. And you will be hated for all my names sake. But not a hair of you head shall be lost, by your patience possess your souls” Amen!
This is what the disciples and people who devote their lives to serve mankind have had to go through. Jesus said it would happen and it does happen. These types of people are not self seeking, but instead are like Jesus Selfless. Not wanting anything in return other than for you to know the truth and live a good life in truth here now. But also their concern and love for you see’s well past this life looking towards the next. Your eternal life.
This is going to happen as scripture says
Anyone who does not believe it doesn’t alter the FACT its going to a happen.
Matthew 25:31-46
“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
Then the King will say to those on his right, "Come, you who are blessed of my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me."
Then the righteous will answer him, "Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you? The King will reply, "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."
Then he will say to those on his left, "Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not cloth me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me."
They also will answer, "Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?"
He will reply, "I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me."
Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life. “

God has never hidden anything away from you it has always been there, His adversary The devil/satan is the one who has tried to hide the truth from all people. He just cant do it, LOVE is to powerful. Be part of love, experience His love in your life, share it with others and the world. Share with wit people beyond your family and immediate friends.
People you don’t take time to get to know, people you have had the time to talk to yet known for years, people you don’t know in general. See the reward and power it brings.
