This week I want to carry on with 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails."
We have already discussed in previous weeks “Love is Patient and Kind, Love does not envy or boast. Its is not Proud.”
This week I wish to talk about what God says love is not. He says Love is not Rude!
Love covers all things.. If you walk in love you are operating the way God does, anyone who walks in Gods type of love is His Child. I have shown this in previous messages. You know God is Love as said in 1 John 4:8
I also shared that the world (meaning people) does not know a lot about Gods type of love. Instead the world tries to block out how God says to do things and does its own thing. Spreading satans nature and character by being envious, boastful, prideful, nasty etc…We have seen that Love is more than emotions, Love actually is and does without anything in return. Love sees past yourself to see the bigger picture for all involved. Love is what this world is lacking and people are missing out on the most powerful force that can transform any situation no matter how bad it may appear!
The Apostle Paul wrote to Corinth because they liked the high life, doing their own thing, engaging in stuff that will cause there life harm. He sent a letter to the Christians there warning them. This is where the scripture 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 comes from. Id like to look at:
1 Corinthians 13:13 It continues from the scripture we have been studying and it shows how powerful Love is.
“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”
LOVE IS THE MOST POWERFUL FORCE!
In fact it says in 1 Corinthians 13:8 - “Love never fails“! I can say from experience it NEVER fails!
Love makes a person and their life in every way possible, evil will try and break them.
Unfortunately there are so many broken people in the world who have suffered at the hands of circumstance or others. This is not what God intended for you, this is what satan intended.
Satan will use anyone who is willing to co operate with him; sometimes without the person even knowing to keep you from experiencing Gods truth and love. Especially If you are good person by nature! As satan never tends to touch His own other than keep them under deception!
In fact satans secret weapons are un forgiveness and lack of love. He is very happy when people operate in these.
However, God loves us so very much as I have shared with scriptures previous weeks. He wants a relationship with you. He wants to love you and yours. He wants you to experience love like never before and its power! His Power! He wants you to experience what many others have experienced in being with Him. Love is powerful… LOVE itself and that’s who God is as said in 1 John 4:18
Deuteronomy 7:9
“Know, recognize, and understand therefore that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God, Who keeps covenant and steadfast love and mercy with those who love Him and keep His commandments, to a thousand generations.”
God is FAITHFUL - English Dictionary meaning of Faithful is:
1. Adhering firmly and devotedly, as to a person, cause, or idea; loyal.
2. Having or full of faith.
3. Worthy of trust or belief; reliable.
4. Consistent with truth or actuality
Now that is someone I would want along side me in this world wouldn’t you? Wouldn’t everyone? Sad thing is you can, He has always been there trying to call you yet sadly many ignore His call to them. I am honoured to say that In fact God who is FAITHFUL is alongside me. The one who has been there for me no matter what through the most terrible circumstances of Physical, Emotional and Spiritual pain. And He was all those things above for me and more! He did supernatural indescribable wonders and miracles for me. He had done from the day I was born throughout my life and still is today! The more I grew in Him the more I was shown. Its not because I am more special than the next person. He will be FAITHFUL to all who come to Him. But not just once, Always. He wants you to know Him and have faith in Him. God Keeps Covenant? Covenant is an in depth subject a wonderful study! I shall only share a tiny amount here today.
The English Dictionary meaning of Covenant is:
1. A binding agreement; a compact.
2. Law ( A formal sealed agreement or contract.)
3. In the Bible, God's promise to the human race.
God holds a LOVE covenant through Jesus Christ and His blood shed for us.
This covenant is legally binding, everlasting UNBREAKABLE! It is Gods promise to us. Satan does not want you to know this! Find out what Gods promises are for you in His word, there are so many and they are the truth and what he wants for you.
Deuteronomy 7:9
“God is steadfast in love and mercy” - His love is continual no matter what, it keeps on going, it never stops. Unlike many who operate in the world today. I myself experienced abandonment as a child. Your parents are supposed to have steadfast love for their child. But that is not the case for so many children today sadly. I was a blessed Child. I had God always with me, waiting for the time I found the truth about Jesus Christ. Although I went through pain with what my natural parents did. God healed that from me with Guess what? Who HE is, LOVE! He wants to do the same things to anyone who goes through any sort of hurt or pain.
All people experience pain in this world anyone who hasn’t wouldn’t be telling the truth. The creator of the universe wants to heal any pain you have had! He wants to walk with people who think they are ok and happy. That’s brilliant but unless you have excepted Christ into your heart as scripture says you are still separated from God. (See my previous blogs). God wants you to walk with him, receive the very best of everything emotionally, physically and spiritually!
He wants a relationship with you no matter what you have done in your past. When you except Christ and ask for forgiveness scripture shows that God does not remember anything you have done for His own sake. He cant look upon sin anyway He is pure Love. This is where kindness, tenderness and forgiveness comes in. We have already discussed a little about kindness.
Ephesians 4:32
"And be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you."
God says in the Bible, "I, even I, am the one who wipes out your transgressions ( anything you have done SIN ) for My own sake; and I will not remember your sins"
Now we can miss it from time to time. No one is perfect thats the good things about Christ He knows this and doesnt judge but helps you instead. Helps you so gently that its easy to do if you are willing. Anyone who would rather stay rude is going to miss out on the greatest gift and power ever given LOVE.

Forgiveness - How can God forgive anyone who still holds a grudge against
Someone. If they are carrying around for years things that people have done to them and not letting it go by forgiving them. Forgiveness is key and and I will go into depth with in a few weeks time as it part of 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. Without this you have a massive block to what God has for you.
So As i have shared Ephesians 4:32, Isaiah 43:25 and Hebrews 8:12
This is Gods steadfast love! He wants to love all people, why do people reject His love? Steadfast love is firmly loyal, constant, unswerving, Un changing. People change their mind and hearts like the wind. God doesn’t!

Gods word says that “Love is not rude“
What would you say that rude actually is? Lets see what the English dictionary says.
Rude - ill mannered and discourteous.
How many rude people have you come across this week? I can tell you I have had the pleasure of a few and some, unfortunately should know better carrying the precious name of Jesus Christ along with them. I have also come across many kids who are so very rude. Ever heard the saying “Kids today“! In my generation as kids we were absolutely tame to what is happening with some children of today! Doesn’t that tell you something? It shows clearly that evil ( satans Character/nature) is breeding in the world. This is through mankind’s choice, they would rather be in envy, bitterness, offence, nastiness, competition than love! Just think how the next generation will be without Gods love. Its so important that we get our children to experience Gods love. The great thing is Jesus says anyone can come to him.. And he does not look at what you have done.
He wants to nurture you, show you wonderful things. He will help you in His strength and change you for the better from the inside out. I don’t need changing? Everyone has room for improvement, if you think you don’t you are in PRIDE!
With Jesus’ help even the hardest, cruel person can change. That’s Gods power! That’s the power of Him and Love
Jesus was never rude, He always had a smile, the right word and love and support for another. There is a big difference between people disguising rudeness for correction!
“Love is not rude” 1 Corinthians 13:5
Its takes nothing to be good mannered to others instead of being rude to a person for what ever the reason! The reason is not valid period! Even if the person has been rude to you. Give them a smile back it will knock them side ways. Defuse the evil intent and when Love is giving I guarantee the atmosphere will change! That’s Gods Power that’s His LOVE.
Talking over a person who is less vocal that you is rude or who is making more sense that you is rude. Ignoring someone for the sake of it is rude. Even if you do not mean to be rude and you just have not the time to consider another. Its still being Rude. Oh the list could go on. Rudeness is petty, shallow and very obvious in the way you feel about yourself in most cases. It’s a reflection on what’s wrong with you rather than what you have just tried to create for the person you have been rude to. Anyone who is wise would know this. Being rude is contributing to satan’s nature in the world. it’s a lack of consideration for another person or persons. Don’t potentially damage someone deliberately. That is what the wicked spirits in high places want. We all have the ability to be rude. But it is a choice a deliberate choice. You are not forced into being rude. You make the choice to or not. Thoughtfulness for others and getting past yourself and not being rude will give such great rewards. I am talking about stuff that can’t be bought. Being considerate to others is walking in LOVE. If only people would see how silly being rude really is and get past pettiness to the real meat and experience LOVE and its power. This world would not be recognised!
Philippians 2:1-4
“Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.”
This is the reward I am talking about joy, like no other. Its strength to you as scripture shows! (see previous blog).
Romans 12:9
“Let your love be sincere (a real thing); hate what is evil loathe all ungodliness, turn from wickedness], but hold fast to that which is good.”
God loves you and wants you to love others. Its easier than you think. Jesus helps you. God gives you the ability, all you have to do is ask him. He will be right there. Experience His love and share it with others there is a lot to go around and don’t you think this world needs it and just as importantly you deserve it! Gods love YOU, He sent His son to die for you!
Thats How much God thinks you deserve His love!
